I am from penang, i also get the .34 IP but the speed is terrible. Have this problem for about 1~2 weeks already...
Constant speed only 20~30kbits/s. At first i tot i being cap but sometime my speed can shoot up to max 384kbits/s.
Right now i only hope that Digi faster launch its 3G broadband service!!!

torrent seem slow today

@ny1 getting slow connection? previously i was like 3.5G+ bt suddenly dropped to 2G oni...wtf...duno wats wrong...

Lately i always get UMTS signal, but with slow speed of 40-60kbps...
Just now i got HSDPA signal, and my speed revert to normal de...hope it stays.

I already had this problem 2 days back but still acceptable.
Holidaying now meaning abandoning Celcom time, back to Streamyx.

i think celcom is throttling torrent. only can get 2-3 min of full speed than get slow speed again, need to restart utorrent to get back full speed

guys.. anyone having problm connecting in Desa Ilmu/Unimas area? I cannot connect to 3G since 5 days ago. Complained already.

now surfing using GPRS with image loading disabled.. kinda suck..

what actually the prorates charges?? is it will be billed every month??

I bet you're new user around here. End of last year, the connection was good because UNIMAS/UITM student went out for holiday. But now, they return back to campus and the traffic clog again.

Yup. And still waiting for second tower to be ready and phone line to be installed....

Prorate includes Stamp duty (RM 10) and prorate charges (around RM 4++) Starting for second bill, you only need to pay RM 68

my BB speed will only goes up only if I'm torrenting, if I stop my torrent download the speed will decrease dramatically. huhu..

Coverage is not the problem, but incoming traffic and network stability. It depends of how many users connecting under one tower.

No. They only charge the prorate on first month. After that, you just need to pay the monthly charge.
