My speed today....worse than being capped

Maybe coz u use Singapore not Malaysia server. But of coz it wont make huge difference...

I have to agree, uploading to Friendster or Facebook is a pain in arse. Before, it was at least "decent". Now... it is even worse than dial-up or GPRS.

Yes I don't think there is a difference as well since my Streamyx can download at the same speed be it Malaysia or Singapore server. In fact, I feel that the servers in Singapore are much better.

lol, but i guess ur friends telling the truth..i got issue of uploading even speedtest show bad upload speed..friendster,facebook,imageshack,slides,picasaweb..all ok except the slow thing..it's 128kbps by theory dude..

p/s : maxis not even upgrade their svc coz it's owner bz keeping his wealth to beat the sugar daddy

I guess, despite all the problems, we can still consider celcombb user a bit lucky

Yeah . Our last resort would be the GPRS connection If that also got problem, DAMN! we are not lucky anymore

Haihz..just when thing started to look good for my ccbb, things gone back to bad again. I thot some upgrading works had been done, guess not . Like timeout error countless times per hour. But I managed to stay there using internet with that connection, haha...I also dont know how I did it.

Any news of celcom upgrading or s'thing?

my friends said celcom upgrading their data service but i'm not sure the exact date, more to this feb, time around midnight to early morning, could be upgrade after

if u use moto v3xx or dopod 838 pro, u can detect whether ur area got edge or not..the phone display best data bearer avail such as G,E,3G or H. my v3xx stick with E if locked to gsm, previously not.it's start last nite i guess..

but i think sabah & s'wak got edge..i've been to kk,got edge around anjung senja

Not only that. I heard from a friend that Maxis is seriously downgrading their service. Replacing all expensive Lucent equipments with cheap china made equipments. They are also terminating their service contract with HP and replacing with a new company which charge cheaper.... and I guess much poorer service

finally i get rid of Cialcom and now using Maxis. Been using for almost 1 month now and no issue so far with Maxis. Im not saying Maxis is perfect but much more better than Cialcom. Cialcom been down since October and i had taken legal action and getting my refund since October.

Yup, I am using Dopod 838 Pro and I can confirm this.
