QUOTE(speedfamgirl @ Feb 14 2009, 02:41 PM) oh yesh, i only can reply by using Quick Reply if Add Reply the page will be stopped & goes blank. even though i refresh no reply shown You are not alone. Me too and other forummeres. Even before I got capped, it happened to me too. Before I went for my holidays last month, it didn't happen. Not sure what has occurred recently that causes this blank page issue...

QUOTE(yongkailoon @ Feb 14 2009, 01:57 PM) First of all yes it is unlimited as you can use it 24 hours and still be charged at either RM68 or RM98 monthly. The only thing is that there is the Fair Usage Policy. It can still be claimed as unlimited since you do not get disconnected nor barred from using it when you touch the limit. Yeah, but the promoter failed to mention Celcom's Fair Usage Policy when I signed up for it...

QUOTE(NutterButters @ Feb 14 2009, 03:27 PM) Yeah, but the promoter failed to mention Celcom's Fair Usage Policy when I signed up for it... They are there for profit. Just called Celcom Careline and fired them nicely. I told them I must get back the reply as soon as possible and he promised by Monday. Else, I'll report this case to SKMM. I even told them SKMM is very efficient when it comes to cases like this as I complained to SKMM before. He just kept quiet.

QUOTE(NutterButters @ Feb 14 2009, 03:27 PM) Yeah, but the promoter failed to mention Celcom's Fair Usage Policy when I signed up for it... Yes it is their bad for not explaining on the Fair Usage Policy but they did not use the term unlimited wrongly as well. If Celcom themselves makes it difficult to find the Fair Usage Policy, would you think that the agents/resellers would make the effort to explain it to their potential customers?

Profit is more important to them

Moreover, I'm sure that most agents/resellers aren't aware of the Fair Usage Policy as well if all they have been doing is just selling the service without any experience of using it.

Well that's true...about the Fair Usage Policy thing...Celcom wants the profit and about the promoters not using it for themselves...

This 5gb policy is really stupid!!!!!!!!
Really they don't understand the needs of their customer. The broadband can't be share with others, even though u want. If I have a HSDPA wireless router and share the connection with few people and within very short time the quota is full.

Which is why I said before that it is probably catered for those who are on-the-move instead of home users who will be using it as their main connection.

At least with mobile broadband such as Celcom Broadband, even if there is no 3G coverage at least there is still GPRS to get you online.

QUOTE(de4thscythell @ Feb 15 2009, 11:47 AM) Dunno when will WiMax expand to Sabah It shouldn't take too long since usually once they are done with peninsular Malaysia they will expand it to Sabah and Sarawak.
