I try to do that once. When i click "Change proxy setting" in Chrome option, it open the Windows "Internet Properties", the one in Control Panel (Internet Option). I think that's the only way to configure proxy on Chrome  hmm.gif

Hav u try switching ur connection to GPRS? Sometimes it work  biggrin.gif
*
then i guess using proxy on firefox is much easier and fast too.........

although my dailer shows tat my speed is abt 100 kbps, it can open web pages very fast and u-tube videos can play smoothly although my dialer shows abt 300kbps

the wonders of using a proxy rclxms.gif

but there some downside too .........so never use a proxy on security surfing like online banking sad.gif

meanwhile for slow users tonite juz envy my proxy enabled connection

Well, some proxy do cache the data so it might be one of the reasons as well that you experience really fast loading with a proxy.

It is surprising that your Maxis works fine while majority are having bad experiences with it. Perhaps Maxis in Selayang area is strong. smile.gif

already using for 1 week.. so far very good....here in selayang sometime only can get hsdpa signal...very satisfy at the moment...my YM never disconnect since yesterday i login....

torrent can only start running after midnite.... rclxms.gif

i dont know when their fair usage policy will be applied on me....hopefully not...huhu...

now waiting for my last bill for celcom bb.....when i terminated my line at celcom centre jalan ampang, i ticked the reason i want to terminate is "migrate to maxis"...haha....

btw, once terminate, if we want to use back celcom bb, dont need to open new account....they can re connect back our celcom bb account within 6 months if we want to with the charge of rm10....i just keep the celcom bb simcard just in case....hehe

Wireless broadband is very area dependent. Maxis wireless broadband is a good service if it is strong in that particular area.

Owh.. Really aa? I thought both were the same. What u mean is, Maxis 3G is the one used for mobile phone. Different from the wireless broadband.
While for Celcom, Celcom 3G is used both for mobile phone and broadband. Is that it? or did i misunderstood something here? hmm.gif

hurm... ive used maxis bb before switching to celcom bb... well if u guys thinking of switching from celcom bb to maxis bb i think is not a good idea... even though our connection with celcom is slow but it is quite stable compare to maxis... i never disconnected while using celcom but when using maxis i always disconnected from their server... the speed was almost the same as celcom as u will NOT enjoy broadband speed... compare to maxis, celcom rate are more cheaper and u can get it without signing any contract...!~

anyway... i wanna ask u guys why that is quite difficult to log-in into yahoo mesenger??? any tips??

That's really fast to be capped back again. Even with 40kB/s you will be capped within 2 days, I don't think anyone would be satisfy with whatever the limit is be it 20GB or more. hmm.gif

Something very wrong with my Celcom BB since Friday. The speed is very low and hard to get HSDPA. According to our "friendly" CS, nothing wrong with the network or anything related to them. She keep on give me ASSumptions like maybe your area no coverage or too many users lar, blah blah blah without really checking it. I told her if network no problem then the tower may have problem (as it happens to me few times). After few minutes of "checking" only she realise that Celcom got many communication towers. Then she just simply say "your tower in Sabah blah blah blah". I told her my location is in Kuching, Sarawak and give her my address. Then she check again... and realized that she can't check tower got problem error or not... At last, she said she'll log in a report for me but need to wait 1 week...

You need to ask Kuchingnites and go to your place to investigate. I want to help you, but I'm no longer using Celcom BB. Normally, the place which not yet have streamyx service/near uni or college, usually got problem. Try setting it to GPRS. smile.gif
