www.ebay.com never be safe also. There were con case happened in ebay, and i think the case are more frequent if compare with LYN. There is no 100% absolutely safe trade around.. Buyer / seller have to be aware and take precaution from time to time.

FIY, lowyat is safe, atleast for me. As long as proper step / action is taken, the chances of fraud case / con case can be reduced.

At least ebay.com US is safer than Malaysia...of course conmen can be found anywhere

i don't think police will investigate on "paypal" thing, and money reverse happened all the time for me.

I wonder if our local police know what paypal is in the first place?

Our local police supposedly have a cybercrime division but I don't really see them doing anything.
