hi,

I just registered with CIMB i-trade with cross border too.
Anyone know how are the charges of Cross Border trading for Singapore and US stocks?
And, if we can ask for cheaper/revise rate for cross border?

i received a letter from cimb yesterday about the risk disclosure statement for trading in structured warrants, and there's a form in it that I suppose to sign and fax back before 16 nov 2009. But i only received the letter yesterday!! There's no point i fax now since it's already long over the due date.

What is this about? structured warrants? What will happen if I don't sign?

me too.
i think the letter is to make sure you acknowledge the risk of playing warrant.
so means they are not responsible if you lose alot of money tongue.gif

AFAIK I-trade has 2 types of account, one normal account, the other is Clicks Trade account. Clicks Trader is the one with RM8.88 fixed broker fee, and need RM10,000 minimum in account to enjoy the fixed fee.

correct. and you can open both account, provided you have 10k for clicks trader(RM8.88) and RM10 charges processing fees for cds account registration. Done mine for 3 working days, migrate from hle.

I'm not really sure about the detail but I given RM10 for 1 CDS account. Now I can buy using normal rate and RM8.88.
nominee = share you bought under cimb name. Dividend bank in to you after deduct some fees.
direct = share you bought under your own name. Dividend post to you.

I would like to enquire a few question in regards to i trade from cimb.
For itrade:
i)the minimum brokerage charge rm28 or rm12 now?
ii)if i have rm5,000 in my trust account. and i buy a rm2 share.will they automatically deduct the amount fr my trust acc?

For Clicks Trader:
i)if i deposit rm10,000 into the acc. and i purchase a RM5 share.and i will be left with approx RM5,000 in my acc.can i still trade with the remaining 5,000?do i have to maintain the RM10,000 deposit all the time?
ii)in order to enjoy the RM8.88 fee, i have to maintain a minimum of RM10,000 right?what happens if i don't bother to maintain it?how much will the fee be?i can still trade?

Thanks...
