omg pls dun mentioned bout e3.. i hate e3
i used to go for a hair rebonding at e3 1yrs ago at genting klang there..
they were having a promotion of hair rebonding cost rm99 only but i prefer to take the rm250 coz my hair is abit dry and they do promise me that this treatment wont damage my hair ( of coz will damaga la ) as they are using a so call superb protein or treatment on my hair
in the end , my hair turned up like a mess .. my fren who nvr try rebonding b4 went there oso kena..
i complained and argued v them , but they blame me that i didnt take care of my hair ( shit , i stop 4 days after rebonding and i rush to e3 after i hav my first shower after the hair rebonding ..) the worst they blamed me for using a wrong shampoo!! anything oso can b their excuses /.. vmad.gif vmad.gif vmad.gif

i just did my rebonding in this salon in sg wang - top point hair studio
ask for michelle tan

she did my hair really carefully
and the result is great
my hair is just below the shoulder
it cost me RM190 plus free loreal treatment
for me it's affordable

i just use rejoice shampoo since i rebonded my hair for three times ( i rebonded my hair for 3 years already)
once in a blue moon i go for a treatment, if i have extra money lah
i think that when stylist said you have to use special shampoo for your hair is BS
it depends on what type of your hair actually
don't really have to use expensive shampoo after you rebond your hair
just take good cair of it actually
don't let your hair to dry and trim the ends every 3 months
it is enough
don't have to bee too perfect lah

if your hair straight like china doll all the time it looks fake tongue.gif

my 20 cents wink.gif

I'm very angry after doing rebonding at mofa (sunway mas) last time!!!!!!! not recommended to go. even my bf also complain. after finish doing also not straight. I told the girl that its not straight, but she said it is like that, but last time i did rebonding, my hair also got layer, and its straight after do it. She just simply straighten my hair, tat's y not straight. The treatment done before rebonding was just applying cream for 10 minutes. After rebonding i asked her about the second treatment, but she said already done because it is mixed into the nuetralize cream to save time. duno if it is true or not. if i didn ask, she would not have told me also. the price for rebonding is different from the 1 at the promotion banner. The hairstyle is not what i asked for (Or my face is not sweet enough sad.gif ). Strongly not recommend to go.
plan to go other saloon to trim my hair. vmad.gif vmad.gif vmad.gif

If u are lucky and meet a nice hairstylist. I think should be fine.
you better request guy hairstylist do for you..should be ok gua.
I think my luck is not so good.
My price is higher than a girl who also doing rebonding at there
I not sure why they give her so good offer.
Some more her hair is longer than me. hmm.gif

wow i think fiza's rebonding is nice!!!

i just did mine at Top Passion in Kota damansara, which cost me RM220 by asking a professional hair stylist to do it( 2 Treatments+ Cut+ Sheseido Rebonding for long hair). The outcome is very satisfying. i think is cheap too.

Angel, if u r looking u for rebonding in pj area, u may try kimarie in SS2, i saw they are having promo from RM99.You may call them for further detail. As i know, A cut Above charge Rm150 for rebonding (any length, but do by their student),my friend claim the result is very nice too.

Just my opinion, if u look for nice rebonding, choose shiseido's rebonding.i have try loreal's and other cream, but result not very satisfying. Be aware of some cheap promo,as the chemical might damage your hair.Good Luck!

omg pls dun mentioned bout e3..  i hate e3
i used to go for a hair rebonding at e3 1yrs ago at genting klang there..
they were having a promotion of hair rebonding cost rm99 only but i prefer to take the rm250 coz my hair is abit dry and they do promise me that this treatment wont damage my hair ( of coz will damaga la ) as they are using a so call superb protein or treatment on my hair
in the end , my hair turned up like a mess .. my fren who nvr try rebonding b4 went there oso kena..
i complained and argued v them , but they blame me that i didnt take care of my hair ( shit , i stop 4 days after rebonding and i rush to e3 after i hav my first shower after the hair rebonding ..) the worst they blamed me for using a wrong shampoo!! anything oso can b their excuses /.. vmad.gif  vmad.gif  vmad.gif

all of my frens emphasize e3 is the worse and dun go there unless u plan to spoil ur hair.......
i've no idea, coz i've nvr been there, but since much of my frens saying that, i wont go neither... tongue.gif

errr... me and my sister have been going to e3 for the past 2-3 years to rebond our hair. The branch we visit is the one at KL, right next to the petaling street entrance on the second floor.

we particularly love their rebonding services because the result is more natural - not extremely flat like how you get it at other places. I dare say the price is also the cheapest around (the kl/subang area) tongue.gif

the only thing i don't like about e3 kl is that they are very semangat to upsell you services you don't need. Like using some special shampoo add rm5, going for 3 different treatments etc etc. So be very, very specific on what you want, and stick to it! They once charged me rm13 something extra just because i asked her to help me trim my fringe abit :S

other than that i have no complaints about the place. I find the people there very friendly too. Maybe you should give the kl branch a try. If they have 3 branches, they must be doing something right smile.gif

They sell lotsa schwarkopf product but use shiseido for rebonding. i think u can select wat chemical to use but checking with the hair stylist.
i only tried their rebonding before.i like the result a lot. I did in Kota Damansara by a stylist named May. Here's the contact at kota damansara :03-61418336 She told me she will be switch to Damansara Jaya's Top Passion near KDU start from next week. May b u can call that number to make appointment with her.

I dunno y they charge differently. I walk in and ask wat chemical they use for rebonding that time. May then told me is shiseido, they charge RM228 for Cut+1 Treatment + Rebonding. Later, May decided to free me one more treatment after she heard my last rebonding was 8 months ago. She worry my hair turn dry if i rebond them again within 1 yr. I very satisfied with her service. She applied some protective chemical on my hair too without extra charging me. Also , she do the rebonding and hair cut according to my face shape. Lastly, she charge me RM220 only for hair length bout 4 inches below shoulder (long hair). i think i will go back to Top Passion again, because the hair stylist make me feel that she really sayang my hair.

i rebonded once in taman len seng cheras which caused my hair to be RUINED. Not only she left some kind of residue on my skalp, it makes the hair curve is some kind of weird way, my hair is ok wavy, no big deal curly, i rebonded because i wanted my hair to be softer, but instead, it got harder!

now my hair has a very rough curb, my hair has grown and the crub (used to be in the scalp) is now in between my hair!!!

hate that shop, they charge me at rm150 and this is what i got! anyone got a good place for rebonding?

if your hair is frizzy then it can help lor..
but i think better way is don't do lor.. 1st it spoil your hair.. 2nd it will make u look flat.. unless u have thick frizzy hair then it will be nicer to do rebonding..

finally did my rebonding at Hair Exchange Sg wang today, indeed rm150 (any length) mine is long...

using shiseido rebond chemical + loreal treatment, but i add in additional 3 item which cost rm70 ( Loreal masque to protect the hair from damaging from heavy chemicals, eg, if u have dyed ur hair before and u have very dry hair end, + one so called sprayed on to nourish ur hair + free vitamino treatment - product is from the loreal range - pinkish purple color packagin..forgot which one ...altogether rm220 for good chemical.....

try not to use cheapo rebond...the next customer sit next to me..not willing to pay extra for better treatment, end up didnt get good result...and she complain doesnt look like rebonding coz she paid oni rm100 (plus she told stylist to rush the rebonding for her..)...so stylist explain to me that every rebonding chemical has diff quality, depends which better chemical u willing to pay... laugh.gif

.im satisfied with it..really nicely done... but need to sit very long hour sweat.gif been there about 12+pm...finish about 5pm,...probably there's too many customer....try go during weekday (not weekends) cheers happy.gif

*oh ya....i didnt make any appointment, so to say from the boss called gary ....said just walk in will do... tongue.gif)

i just did volume rebonding at Kuchai Lama salon named HAIR SHOP. Quite nice, cost me RM 200 for my hair (length = 8 inch from waist, very long!), inclusive cut, rebond, and treatment.

For me, most important thing in rebonding is the chemical and the expertise of the hair dresser. This salon is using Loreal chemical (i requested for Sheisido, she said it is too expensive now, so they only use Loreal which give similar effect and cheaper price). I'm not sure what brand they use for treatment, but the result is superb! I tried the RM 70 loreal masque in my last rebonding before, this one is definitely better.

After rebonding hair care, I use Keratase Serum Nutri-Sculpt (prevent split-end, very good, make your hair smooth and silky after shampoo) and Kerastase Oleo-Relax.

Keratase Serum Nutri-Sculpt 30 ml - RM 75
Kerastase Oleo-Relax 125ml - RM 78

Normally a few drops will do the tricks, so each bottle can last about 3 mths for me.

Normal rebonding will look flat abit, if don't want too flat, try volume rebonding.

it depends on your hair growth.. normally can last bout for good 6 months..

but for me, not so good lor.. i do whole hair rebonding bout 7-8 months once.. and fringe rebonding bout 3-4 months once.. so total fringe rebonding per year is bout 3 -4 times.. but my fringe grow quite fast and i cut short everytime i rebond.. so the person say is okie wo..

my hair end is quite dry after few times rebonding and even after rebonding it can't be totally silky str8.. i think is becuz hair too dry..
the effect is damage and dry ur hair.. protect ur hair well smile.gif

i rebonded my hair apr 08 at 'Crystal Light' damansara utama (uptown) at RM180 + free cut to shoulder length. Mine is super curly originally, the results turned out very good.

Went back had hair cuts few times coz wanna have bob style n keep short... Now coz hair all grown back curly again, the stylist cut for me a hairstyle that can live out my natural curls. very good!!

woot...sorry chocolate candy..i just realize the post today...errm,..i guess mine was so so till now. Perhaps i have a very dry end.(due to my hair color back then)..they insist to cut shorter but i insist to keep it longer.

yea, still straight, but mine is not super straight like those rebonding pic they advertise, but i prefer to look more natural straight then flat flat which kinda looks very fake as i have round face... >.< blush.gif

i couldnt take any pic as i dont have a camera with me.. tongue.gif

It only sells in Keratase Salon. You may find in most shopping centre... I've seen it in Mid Valley, The Curve, 1U, Times Squre, etc... and thier price are fixed no matter where you go.

Hello everyone.
If my hair is damaged due to the high temperature,
just the hair on both side, other parts are okay and beautiful
as the hair dresser used a different 'clip'。 -,-

How to rehabilitate it?
Any recommend shampoo?
I go to the saloon to cut those hair little by little since 4 months ago.
It still not yet to recover well.

someone, ANYONE, plz explain further on hair relaxing! i did my curls in december but i am not happy with the results. *even for the curl, i did TWICE because the hair stylist didnt follow instructions! i look like a poodle dog on the first day!*

i don't want rebonding bcoz i think it's too straight for me. i used to have natural wavy hair. i want that one back! besides, my bf preferred my natural wave. doh.gif

Hi,

I saw people mentioning about this E3 salon for rebonding. I saw there's one branch in Masjid Jamek and it's quite convenient. May enquire if anybody went there and basically the service offered in E3 is good or not?

Btw, feel like doing rebonding this saturday, where's good salon that can offer good price and service? those use good brand for chemical ? thanks ^^

I did my curls which really damaged my hair 6 months ago at APT. So lifeless and dry. After reading some reviews, I tried hair relaxing at Shunji Matsuo Mid Valley. I chosed Jack, which is a Senior Stylist. The price is RM300 inclusive of relaxing, cut and treatment. It took me 2 hours and the result is very very good! My hair is so soft and bouncy. It doesnt make my hair very straight (like rebonding), but it looks natural.

went to K care shop recently ( ss2 branch , beside guardian) for rebonding ( only front part ) ..

Here's my experience:

I asked the counter girl for price before agree to get my hair done. I told her the style i want it to be. So she quote me RMxx.
After everything done, the stylist told the counter girl to charge me additional RMxx for hair cutting!! vmad.gif

I was quite unhappy in my heart, as i already told the counter girl the way i wanted it to be.. and is known that i need to cut my hair in order to get the style i want ( SOO obvious k!!! ) Anyway, i didn't argue with them or talk a single word.. i just pay and leave..

As for the hair stylist, he is like rushing =.= kinda fast when doing things.. and he did not wash my hair for me.. is a malay girl who do it.. quite painful.. she use finger nails to wash.. OMG =.= even im not stylist i also know is NOT GOOD to use finger nails..

and 1 thing that i Don't understand is why they always quote different price for same thing! mad.gif btw, is the same girl who quote me diff price...

gals,

i am working at this ofis at Jaya One PJ. I love to go to dis saloon, Element, behind OCBC Bank only
you know y i keep going there, because their services and results are really superb. 1st class rclxm9.gif
i assure u all. i very loyal to another saloon b4, Chezz Saloon. but they r too pricey but the result is good.
so since element hair saloon just near my ofs, and the guys doing very good job, i prefer them now.
for rebonding , i dont think we gals love stick straight hair or flat or fake-straight hair rite? they got promotion for "volume rebonding".
ur hair wont b flat and stick straight. got volume n very nice. my hair is bob short style, x nice to rebond rite? but i still did it rclxms.gif
x flat at all n shining. but v also need to use good shampoo n conditioner . i using redken products.
try to call them, my fav hairstylist is joseph. i dont hv the fon no, left it at ofis. i will forward later k.

Angelgurl,

the real name 4 the saloon is element dot style. the hair stylist is the one that in Style@8tv. lots of experience and when they got promo, the price is really cheap. 4 volume rebonding (x normal flat rebonding) is rm370. but if got promo,50% off. only rm185. because i am regular customer there, they never charge me 4 cut and treatment. but for all the process, it ssould be less than rm250.
its consider cheap with that great result.
the fon no- 0379570909.

Is cheaper than whole hair lor.. I did mine at kimarie & K care before.

Kimarie: Junior RM80 ( if just fringe without the side, is RM50)
Student RM50

K care : RM60 + RM15 ( hair cut ) . For this, if they tell u RM60.. u ask them it is include cut 1st. They use shiseido btw.. JS should be cheaper.. according to what i ask 1st time.

Mine is include abit side too. nod.gif

They always quote diff price, so this is just an outline for you.. blush.gif

Erm, if ur down hair part is dry then i advise u better don't do whole head of rebonding next time, bcos ur hair will become more dry ! as my experience, everytime i do the rebonding, my hair stylist will cut the down part of my hair , and she only do half head of rebonding to avoid the damage of the hair end.. just my 2 cents biggrin.gif

But i think the maybe the problem is the product of rebonding, wat product they use on ur hair ?? mine is using shishedo, so far, no this frizzy n dry problem le.. i done at APT b4, they using their own product ( they said is imported from japan), well .. i never c that brand ~ and the result is no that good as shishedo, no lasting and more dry.. So i always ask the salon wat product they are using b4 i go tongue.gif

erm, i do my hair at my hair stylist house , she is the professional hair stylist and 1 of the boss of salon b4, experience more than 10yrs lo.. tongue.gif
But now she only do the hair at her house, 1 man show la laugh.gif from wash till end all done by her , and her skill is good, this is wat i prefer, bcos normally u go to salon, wash & blow should be another person, and the hair stylist only will come when everythings is ready.. i met this problem at snips b4, i mentioned i wan the hair stylist do rebonding for me, but at the end was the senior done and the stylist only came and told them how to do.. mad.gif
btw ,the most important thing is my hair stylist will using the shishedo product in front of u, definately no cheated.. rclxms.gif i oledi do my hair at her place 3-4yrs lo biggrin.gif

recently (last 6 mths), i go to tis salon which has branch in DJ and kota damansara... introduced by a guy fren. i am satisfied with the services and results, but pricey, and need to ensure u ask the price coz' sometimes (i think same with alllllll salons), they simply quote, and sometimes before and after price is different.

my experience with many salons - when doing things like perming, rebond, coloring, when u ask them, they quote u RMxx. then when finish or during the process, they say add tis and tat because of pre-post treatment etc. so always ask them total package plus all treatments, serum etc.

anyway back to the salon i goto... i did hair perm, hair wash and now undergoing scalp treatment with them... not bad, saw results... but PRICEY... sigh

Hi guls,

1st of all i would like to apologize bcuz recommend tis saloon (Hair Exchange, Sg Wang).

I tot their services will always great but i'm wrong.

Maybe all tis are depending on hairstylist technique+'mood' n individual hair type as well.

I did rebonding on Nov 08 n until now i don have any big problem. Still straight, no split end etc. Maybe a bit dry but still under control.

Hi, wanna ask,
I want to do hair relaxing instead of rebonding because I don't want it look dead straight.

So I went around to survey for salon, so there's this one salon offered RM150 (my hair is chest length btw) and they use Shiseido .
where else there's another salon offered RM100 and they use JS .

so which should I choose ? My budget is below RM200 anyway. So if you have any other salon you'll like to recommend please let me know.

Oh and different between rebonding and relaxing.
both using the same chemical to the hair except rebonding use flat iron and relaxing use blow dry only.

My hair is straight but curls at the end because it rests right on my shoulder. I was thinking that perhaps i should go for hair relaxing. Will it looks natural after that? I dont want it to look like a flat broom. Also after relaxing, will it curl bek since it's right on my shoulder??

Hair relaxing is not as lasting as rebonding as what I've read .. many said will go back to normal after a while. I too don't fancy sticking straight hair result from rebonding looks so flat .. If not mistaken relaxing is much cheaper as well ..

wow i think fiza's rebonding is nice!!!

i just did mine at Top Passion in Kota damansara, which cost me RM220 by asking a professional hair stylist to do it( 2 Treatments+ Cut+ Sheseido Rebonding for long hair).

*
YeaHH! Agree !! Top Passion hair saloon is the best choice for me! I got my straight hair, curly hair, treatment, hair cuts, all there! The kota damansara branch has been closed and combined back to their HQ in Damansara Jaya, you know, nearby Atria shopping center but facing the main road and same row with the Maybank and dim sum. This time, they partnered with a reputable beauty saloon and came out with a 3 months promotion. something like, spent rm299 (the price after 30% discount on hair services) and we can get 1 free facial treatment from there. RM199 is entitled us for the treatment voucher worth rm100 but not the free facial treatment straight away. I just saw the announcement from their official website, they'll open another new branch at Tropicana City Mall in june 2009..!!! Better, and more convenient to find a car park next time.kekek! read more info yourself at www.toppassion.com.my

Mine is include abit side too.  nod.gif

They always quote diff price, so this is just an outline for you..  blush.gif

hi all....just wanted to share my rebonding experience....

After giving my hair a break from rebonding it for 3 years, i decided to look for a reputable n sensible stylist. after reading about experiences from fellow forumers, i decided to go to kimarie in ss2. I asked for a senior stylist n i must say that she did an absolutely wonderful job. Although a bit expensive, i paid about 350 for a cut, prektreatment n shiseido rebonding. I am very happy awith the results. I would not put my hair in the hands of someone inexperienced, esp for rebonding. Imagine if they fried your hair if the lotion was kept longer than required!!! It would take months for your hair to recover.

I would recommend kimarie. Ask for lan, she did my rebonding.

Cheers!

Hey all.. Just tried Shiseido rebonding. I must say this is the best choice ever! My hair becomes very soft, smooth and the scent of the chemical is pleasant. Unlike the typical rebonding cream which leaves you with that, you know what smell it is shakehead.gif

I tried at Tg. Malim hair salon. My hair now is pass-the-bra-strap long already. Recommended - SHISEIDO rebonding!

I really hate hair rebonding - I did that and I regret! Come on having a nice curly frizzy hair or whatever would be nice too. Plus, Hair rebonding damages your hair from the inside although it looks good on the outside. Hair rebonding makes your hair flat too. Boringggg

I'm looking to do rebonding before my birthday this september. I had rebonding for many times already. Trouble is my rebonding wont last long. After I did rebonding, I did not wash my hair as instructed(3 days or more) and so I followed. 3 days later I washed my hair and my hair turned out to be a bit puffy already. Then with next wash, more puffy. I did not blow dry my hair. I just let it dried naturally. I tried blow dry but the result still same. I guess was my hair texture not good enough sad.gif

i guess is becuz of ur hair texture.. cuz i had almost the same prob as you.. after i wash my hair.. it will turn out to be come like "natural straight hair" .. it won't be like rebonding so silky.. and every morning i had to use water to straighten my hair..

No it's not the same. It only works a little bit on normal hair and doesn't work at all on really curly hair. It's better to opt for proper rebonding.

rebonding will give flat straight hair...

since u are having straight hairs.. i suggest u do more treatment .. i mean it is better for you to opt for healthy hair (for more manageable and smooth)

Go for a good hair cut to make your hair suit your look

Thats the salon I went to today! I did rebonding there before and happy with the results. Because I did rebonding before and my hair is quite long, I had to do the rm70 treatment. Rebonding was RM 100 so altogether Rm170. They use shiseido products.

Is there a rebonding technique that wont make ur hair looks flat at the end ? The end that can curl inward ? It is more natural like that.

Another, has anyone tried rebonding at salon that used schwarzkopf product ? Is the result good ?

I'm planning to do rebonding and change hairstyle anytime now. My existing hair length is bra strap level, plan to cut short to above shoulder length. Any good/honest/reasonable saloon using shiseido products for rebonding, pls recommend..location can be kl/pj/shah alam. Hope to get between rm100 to max rm200..saw some posting which using shiseido products at rm100...appreciate if u can share...

Just did rebonding 3 days ago at a salon using full schwarzkopf product under RM150. My hair length touched bra strap. V soft and natural looking. After putting the stabilizer product, they just simply blew dry my hair. It looked straight till now unlike last time I went to some salons they iron straight my hair twice after stabilizer product. I hope my hair will stay straight after my first wash.

Dont trust the stylist that claimed using Shisedo or some premium brand.
Ask them to squeeze the cream in front of u in the bowl.
If they do it @ the backroom, mostly its some Balakong product.

I've tried many different brand, the best so far is Goldwell.
Its not only the product, its a combination of skill and timing as well.

A good rebonding technician will never do it less than rm200 since the cost of most branded cream is around rm90 per head.
A proper job will take 5hrs (+ -) n its very tedious.

i've tried rebonding with schwarzkopf product for my first time (3 or 4 yrs ago), and its really good. its very longlasting. my hair is still straight for about 8month (trust me, without any treatment!) but i spoil it by coloring my whole hair n its started to damage. its kinda pricey at that time since maybe it still new. i got it for rm400(including shine(sumthing- i cant recall. its really gv shine to my hair)+rm225(highlight- since its really boring when ur hair flat so the stylist suggest me to make some highlight). my highlighted part damaged for about 3 weeks later. and like i said, i try to change my look by coloring the whole hair 8months later. its stupid i know. i started to think if i NEVER put any color to my hair (since im very lazy to go for treatment), maybe my hair will still straight more than a year.

FYI, i go to derrick @ midvalley (in front of carrefour midvalley). joanne is my stylist n she's really good. i still hv her number but im not sure if she's still there or not since nowadays mostly, i love to go to allanz @ setiawangsa.

Added on November 3, 2009, 1:49 amnow my hair is already recovered, virgin from any chemical stuff. back to the original. no color.

i hv a thin straight layered hair but very frizzy or wavy at the bottom. by wavy - i mean not in a sexy way. i hate it. it tends to be very 'kembang' after shower (im not a big fan in blow dry).

im thinking shud i get another rebonding or maybe relaxing? how long relaxing will last? if im using relaxing, do i hv to blow dry every after shower to have natural straight look? or i dont hv to do anything, let it dry naturally n i'll get the straight?

allanz offer me rm120 for relaxing using 'still good' product, rm150 for using wella.

shud i go for it?

if your hair is back to normal now, you can try doing rebonding again.. as relaxing is not that lasting.. just my opinion.. cuz my hair tends to grow very fast.. even rebonding can only last for nice 3 months after 6 months it will turn back to frizzy again..

on the other hand, u can also try relaxing 1st.. see how long does it last and the result.. it might look good on u =)

for me, my hair will never look flat after rebonding.. it will become like natural straight after i wash my hair.. dunno y sigh.
even i told them i wan really flat rebonding.. it will still turn out to become natural after washing. I don't really like it to become natural straight as i think that's the reason y my rebonding won't last long. lol.

same. I'm not v happy with my own hair as well. Ya altho I am blessed with hair but my hair is not as soft and straight like my friend. I saw her did rebonding and for few weeks d her hair still like rebonding type. V soft and straight. I mean STRAIGHT !

My hair also like u, natural straight d. When I run my fingers to my hair also not tat smooth d. I did colouring myself after 1 week rebonding. Dunno if that killed my hair sad.gif But I can say schwarzkopf product can really made my hair straighter than other products my hair rebonded with or maybe it's the techniques by the saloon I went was good hmm.gif

Nevertheless, I need to blow my hair dry after washing. My hair will be puffy but after tomorrow, it'll be more flatter, dunno why.

(refer to my post)

ive tried rebonding 3 or 4 yrs back. n it still shine for 8least 2 months (except the highlighted part since i NEVER treat my hair *my bad*). tht time, i go to derrick @ midvalley (in front of carrefour). ask for joanne. the price is pretty expensive tht time. not sure now. but tht time, i pay 400 including hair shine. they got 350 pakej, without hair shine. im not sure the price now since its been ages since i go there.

FYI, my hair is natural rite now. virgin frm any salon stuff. so got no point to upload my pic ere. but u can add @ facebook. search 4 'yanna azlan'.

yup, I did rebonding at salon full of schwarzkopf. Result is good. I still have a straight hair here. I did not wash my hair for 2-3 days (lucky din itchy) and my hair is straighter. It is because of my hair's oil.. smile.gif

there's where i did my rebonding too. smile.gif costs me only 270 for my long hair length about 4(?) inches below my shoulder. i think thats pretty reasonable considering my hair's dry and damaged. it turned very satisfying of course. went back a few days ago to re-rebond my hair but now they're charging 360 omfg. cos my hair's at elbow length now.

first did rebonding at wings in uptown damansara. i was quite naive la i should say. i agreed to rebonding for 200 only. it was only during the rebonding process he told me i have to use a before and after treatment product which i thought was included in the 200. which will cost me 80 bucks extra. at the end of the day i wasnt too happy with the service that he didnt inform me earlier there's an extra charge for treatment but i must say the result wasnt bad.

i just wouldnt go for 400+ rebonding ever. the result is gonna be just as good as a 300 one.

I called Top Passion to enquire about their rebonding, and was quoted the promo price of RM280-300 for my long hair (bra-length). Thought it was quite cheap until I asked them what brand will they be using and the lady told me its some china brand. If good brands like shiseido/l'oreal then it will be RM400 and above. It's a good thing I asked because I only believe in using well established brands because the last thing i need is my hair falling in patches (which has happened to some girls on some forums i've read). I'm not sure if you girls check what brands they use but it's really important.

Anyhos, I will be going back to La Mode in MV, was quoted RM350 for rebonding and cut. They use shieseido or l'oreal. I did my hair with them previously early this year and was happy with the outcome. Can't wait for my hair to look pretty again, lol

erm, i do my hair at my hair stylist house , she is the professional hair stylist and 1 of the boss of salon b4, experience more than 10yrs lo..

I like this type coz the hairstylist do everything from the begining until the end of session...for other salon most likely hair stylist wont do rebond for you, only cut ur hair and give advise..n then student may not as good as their sifu on doin this.. laugh.gif

I do mine once or twice a year, depending on how unruly my hair gets. I have a hair iron as well which helps but sometimes I choose to rebond so I dont have to spend extra time doing my hair.

Just to update, got my hair done over the weekend at La Mode, MV. Rebonding was RM350 using shiseido products. I opted for a cut which was RM88 for the senior stylist, although I did splurge a bit, no regrets because I love the hair cut and the outcome - told him I didn't want it too flat and wanted volume and that's what I got. Bill Tay is his name, incase anyone is keen smile.gif

I think they used the black and white pack for me too coz I saw her pouring it in front of me smile.gif

RM200 is way too cheap for shisedo. I noticed that when some saloons have promotion for rebonding they dont usually use the good brands. Mostly non-branded China brand so just to be sure always ask what brands they're using.

Where did you perm your hair?

I called them up last week, the tropicana and damansara outlet. They're currently having a promo, about RM300 for long hair - cut, rebonding and treatment. But when I asked if they were using loreal/shisedo, the lady said some china brand. If I want those brands it will cost me RM400++. Maybe you can check with them what brand they're using first before deciding.

Anyhow, I will be going over to the tropicana outlet tomorrow and see what I will do with my hair. Need a hairstyle change..haha
anyone needs feedback for this salon? i will keep you updated once i get back tmr night. let me know. thanks wink.gif

I did my rebonding in a saloon called Hairazone in Kajang for RM180 on my shoulder length hair and it is done by a professional hairstylist.

It's already been months and my hair is still in great shape!

The ppl at the salon there will be recommend u to do hair mask once every 2 weeks.
Then need to apply conditioner too!

i bought the hair instant conditioner spray after recommended by the salon gal
But after using it few times, really dun like it because of the strong fragrance sad.gif

If u want to save cost, Can DIY hair mask yourself at home smile.gif

You can try snips in Curve next time, look for Jo. She's good but expensive, I remember I paid about RM700 after rebonding, treatment, hair products etc. If rebond alone I think its about RM400 for long hair.

I've been considering between doing rebonding or getting a iron. I did rebonding 2 times before..the first one was very good, lasted me about 2 years and the 2nd one lasted for abt a year only (i think i got lazy of taking care after the 2nd one lol). Then recently,i stayed over at my cousin's place and tried using their hair iron. Remington brand from australia,i think its not available in msia..and i loved the results. My hair stayed very soft, straight, and natural for more than 24 hrs even after i showered twice. So after weighing the pros and cons,i felt that it was better for me to get a good hair iron instead of doing rebonding for the 3rd time...but i've been having a hard time finding good ceramic/tourmaline hair irons at a good price. Anyone have any idea where i can get them? I checked jusco and an electronic shop but so far,no good ones. I want to get one with adjustable temperature and made out of ceramic/tourmaline plates..If anyone has any idea where to get them outside or know someone who is selling here,do inform me..would greatly appreciate it!

Hi all, i'm new here. The name's max.
Erm...i thought of going for rebonding or having curls...
but, don't know which suits me best...
if rebonding, i don't like those super flat ones....and...i love wavy hairstyles...but, waves can only be obtained from blow dry?
i know there's one thing which looks like a container, consisting many curlers, have to heat them up to curl the hair...thought of buying one...but...is that better or those curlers better?

hmm...does anyone know any saloons around old klang road, kuchai lama, sri petaling, mega mendung or oug area which are cheap and good?
or...those that use shiseido or schwarzckopf product as you babes mentioned around the area i mentioned?
please let me know...thanks! biggrin.gif

Hair Exchange is opposite Snips right? Coz I've done my hair there like three times. They used Xtenso for me but charged me RM300 for what you asked for. Wonder why they quoted me so much, but my hair is quite long, past bra strap.

not very sure whether is it opposite Snips... it's at LG floor... is the service there good...? u did there 3 times how was the results...? can last long...? the previous time i did mine at Michael Ling, did it April this year till now... my hair grow very fast... fringe curl already...
*
I can't recall the name of the shop but if it's opposite snips then yes that's the place. service was good, results were also good. I mean my hair didnt come out fried, haha. My stylist was Masaro. Usually it depends on your original hair, if very curly then can't expect it to last long. I have fairly wavy hair so I consider it long lasting if can last up to 2-3 months, which is usually the case no matter where i straighten my hair. Other days I iron my hair myself which is fast and easy.

erm, i do my hair at my hair stylist house , she is the professional hair stylist and 1 of the boss of salon b4, experience more than 10yrs lo..

Agneslim, can you provide me the stylist contact no? Where is her house located? Many thanks

Hi , I plan to do hair rebonding on this weekend. Any salon u recommend in wangsa maju /setapak area?
I went to fix saloon (Rm220- Rm240 , redken product ) at desa setapak for 3 times already, but the result seems like getting worse. now it only last for 5 months and bcome curl... cry.gif

I thinking to try Miko , but some ppl said Miko is expensive and result not good too... My hair length is 2 - 3 inches below my shoulder , Miko at prima setapak there quote me for RM250 , and for kerastase treatment , they just told me is min RM120.

Any one can give me some suggestion? thanks a lot.

Is there a rebonding technique that wont make ur hair looks flat at the end ? The end that can curl inward ? It is more natural like that.

Another, has anyone tried rebonding at salon that used schwarzkopf product ? Is the result good ?
*
hi.. biggrin.gif
fyi, there is such rebounding.. it is called volume rebounding.. normally the stylist will know how to do if u tell them..
it will make ur hair look volumize and curl inwards..
abt the price..it will be same as normal rebounding..the stylist told me that the difference is just the technique..

Volume rebonding would depend on the way they iron your hair right?

Just to update, got my hair done over the weekend at La Mode, MV. Rebonding was RM350 using shiseido products. I opted for a cut which was RM88 for the senior stylist, although I did splurge a bit, no regrets because I love the hair cut and the outcome - told him I didn't want it too flat and wanted volume and that's what I got. Bill Tay is his name, incase anyone is keen smile.gif
*
hi cas.. smile.gif mind if u tell me the contact number for la mode mid valley...
i'm looking for best shiseido rebounding too...
thanks in advance..

lolz..
I dont know too. My hair isnt that straight type so after rebonding also not that nice after few washes. Maybe I need to do more treatment instead of rebonding it. My hair now is considered damaged. I'm not sure whether it was due to my rebonding or the dye hair thing I did myself 2 weeks after my rebonding. My hair strand, some of it like very frizzy like crimpled frizzy blink.gif sad.gif

btw i go alot of hair salon...each time different place...

went to

@ hair zone (seapark) - dye....ok normal but expensive plus treatment rm350!!!!
- rebonding (my sister) not bad but (too straight!!!!)
- cut - don really dare to let them cut...rather go shunji

@ SNIPS sg wang-(ok ok only very fast cut finish)

@ SHUNJI MATSUO (mid valley)-

(my best place of all.went ther more then 3 times..the stylist is very daring, they don stop u if u wan to cut from long hair to short.
Last time i got waist line hair lengh cut till above shoulder..and very nice too....recommend if u need to change hairstyle(bad news is the director japanese hair stylist transfer to vietnam already..haih.... but she recommend us to go inside japanese club (another shunji) to find another japanese hair stylist.

price cut -shunji midvalley (rm98)
-shunji japanese club (rm78)-this week go cut tongue.gif

if rebonding or perm their price range is rm350 onwards (abit pricey)(if rebond or perm , cut seperate pay)

***ps they got korean hairstylist also..dunno if they transfer him anot (recomend for manageble hair)

@ sg wang (down stair forgot wat name)-ruin my hair (perm my hair like auntie DENG!)

@ monsoon id(1 utama)-erm normal only...not much different but they give alot of suggestion.

@ Sunway (forgot wat is the name) - cut a very old style hairstyle....haih..those staircase style wif half short half long (now my housemate need to tie her hair everyday)

@ EP (my sister went..not bad...but my sister din change hairstyle just trim sooo..normal looo ) exp then shunji i think rm100+
but good for those who wan to go for very stylist hairstyle..

@ frizzer- time square new opening..look pro not those lala ones..went for perm, dye, treatment, blow, wash (rm500)
-im satisfied....love the curl cause now they promoting the soft perm not auntie perm or digital perm make my hair very very soft

- my sis straightening,dye,treatment at rm438(whole pakage)..not bad the straight..very natural straight..

@ kota damansara AUGUST -my housemate rebond for rm300 plus treatment but i think my housemate is lucky since her hair is done nicely..but i saw some opinion...they suck...oh well...hahahhaha

Nice information. I love the info u gave for the shunji. I heard good comments on this saloon too.
So the cut price is fixed at RM98 or RM98++ ?
The Shunji japanese is located at where ? I really consider getting my hair cut there.
Would they help u cut to suit your face shape or you requested for it ? And this question is most important of all, are their service friendly and polite ? Thank you if you could reply ^^

Then I will definetely go for the place with japanese stylist biggrin.gif I love the japenese style.. It's the best !! I'm not from KL too. I plan to go when I have holiday. I need to save money also because I dont think I would need just a cut. I have a v bad frizzy hair. I dont like rebonding too much. Not natural. I hope shunji would be able to suggest me something next time I go. RM78 for a director cut is very afforable! Thanx for the number too. Saving it ! Do you have the full priceless for the shunji japanese club ? smile.gif

Yay.. It's good that they are friendly biggrin.gif because I have been to really expensive saloon but I just tried the cheapest option in their saloon, their looks changed.. sad.gif

I think it gotta be something special and rebonded by Winnie Loo herself ? I heard a cut from A CUT ABOVE can come to RM500..

new news from shunji...i cut my hair dy...i like it..hahahah now my hair is more lifely then heavy...oh yea...there is only one stylist(japanese) at the japanese club...then we chat along then I realise that she say that the only REAL shunji matsuo is only in japanese club!!!!! she say the others like in bangsar or midvalley is only branch(means take shunji's name and do business) the only place that train from REAL SHUNJI COMPANY..is only in japanese club...the stylist name ayako..shes very cute...last year went to singapore do hairshow.

hey,u can do natural rebonding now..my fren did once..its call volume straight..very natural and not those flat flat straight. but of course more exp then those normal rebonding.

for the pricelist..i think u better go and ask..because she say different hair different price..i told her that i did my perm in time square for rm400+..she also shock..she say my hair rm200++ can be done already..hahahah this im not sure..maybe the chemical difference? next time ill try perming ther..hahah

rm500 i think its a bit too exp?? not sure whether maybe its the chemical itself..but rm500??? might be cut and treatment different price... rclxub.gif

Hi guys, just wondering if anyone did hair relaxing, is it harsh to your hair? How much did you pay? smile.gif

Also, what products do they use? Xtenso (don't really remember the name)?
*
did relaxing once..its so so oni lo..if ur hair is wavy/curly after do relaxing it wont gv u d straight effect..it'll jus gv u a volume look if u intend to hv volume hair..i've been doin rebonding since 2002..every 5 months i do rebonding..so far my hair is still sleek n shinny..all tis while my saloon used sheseido rebonding creme..nw she uses Xtenso since its new brand..1st time i did rebonding also cost me rm400 coz my hair long n thick..nw everytime touchup also rm250-300 depends on d lenght..rebond also nt necessarily to b flat straight..it depends on certain angle they straighten..if they pull 90 degree it'll gv u a volume hair..if they pull straight then ur hair will turn out flat straight..

yup...that's A CUT Above price. I think cut by Winnie Loo herself. I also once saw Snips doing the Magic Straight for RM500

Haha I actually like the jap style better than the local style. The bob and stuff..it's a bit boring to me.. I like hair with lots of movement and natural.

Yay congrats ^^ A lively hairstyle is great. Lol made me wanna go to KL now and get my hair done by the jap stylist. My hair is long and dull. Was it RM98 for a cut or depends the hair length ? My hair length is till the chest area and I intend to keep a hair length that is not so long and would make me stay young and fresh. Lol I'm pretty demanding becoz so far the salons I went were only boasting and couldnt even cut a hair that suited me. But I'm so confident in the jap stylist.

Thanks for sharing the great info about Shunji. I heard great deal bout this salon few year ago. I'll pay a visit once I visit KL. Rm200+ consider very cheap because did by professionals like Japanese stylist. Haha.. I might do my perm and everything there. smile.gif Thanks again

The hair that had been straightened will be straight permanently but U can't stop your new hair from growing. The new hair that grow after straightening will be your natural hair.

so your hair will never look straight forever.

Is it true that the chemicals they use will make your scalp burn and itch? I heard that somewhere, so I'm scared to try since I have a sensitive scalp. sad.gif

btw i go alot of hair salon...each time different place...

went to

@ kota damansara AUGUST -my housemate rebond for rm300 plus treatment( love the rebonding its not too straight as they call it now " volume straight" dosent look rebonding..very natural indeed! NICE!!!)
**END**

went to August hair salon last weekend. They have this package 259 for volume straightening + treatment ( All length, although i do re-touch only, still same price) . It was the worst experience of hair rebonding i ever had. The staffs are all male, ah-beng look all the way. Never ever offer me drink for the whole 3 and a half hour of the procedure.. keep pushing me to join their membership for another 499 ( free shampoos n wat not , service 40% off ) and keep saying that my scalp and hair are alredy bad, need the miracle shampoo to fix.. -Really gangster-piratecd-petaling-street attitude- .. . And after the straightening, i just ask for some trim at the end of my hair, i was rudely told that i have to pay extra for that.. ( just say no politely is enough ) and worst is, the treatment they claim included in the package is just some leave in spray treatment of unknown brand. Very stupid. And my hair was not really straight or volume , it just looks frizzy..

The best place i thnk is kcare shop, same row as maybank in SS2 .. Staff are polite, price is very reasonable 180 for touchups using shiseido.. and she do very detail and they never cheat on products.

Just my 2cents tongue.gif

hi.. don't know any place in the pandan indah area.. but if you're lookin for a place that is less than RM200, try this place in sungei wang called michael ling. Price should be about RM180 unless u add extras (treatment etc). I've never had to pay more than RM250 for straightening before so i can't tell you the quality difference.. but have to say.. my hair is quite dry.. but I've been rebonding my hair for like 5 years already.. so doesn't say much i guess.. tongue.gif

hope this helps!

Hey guys,

i saw an ad in the papers some time back about a salon where you can rebond the top half of your hair and add long curls to the bottom half but not with a perm. Everytime you wash your hair, it will look the same. I cannot find the salon neither do I know what this whole thing is called. Anyone out there can help? Thanks!

is it safe to rebond twice even with the treatment? D: i heard it'll spoil the hair if its rebonded more than once.

I've done rebonding before twice.... even though I took care of it but because I wore tudung for college, it always would end up dry. I switch once every 4 month Casting Creme dye. My hair would stay soft for weeks with it instead of damaging my hair like rebonding treatment.

Hi all, i'm planning to do rebonding in A Cut Above Academy, Sunway Pyramid. Anyone tried before? Any feeback? Planning to go there next week! Need help ASAP!!

I'm planning to do volume rebonding, the one which gives your hair volume i think as my hair quite little but abit wavy. Other that A Cut Above Academy, where you all suggest? Budget wise, around RM250 below.

Thank you all, need your comments asap!!!! =)

never go to a student for rebonding.
99% will turn up be a disaster.
its a job tat demand patience n skill.
the straightening cream used n the flat styler9iron) use is equally important.

for v. curly & resistanct hair - nothing beat shisedo black&white

I tried Arimino product too! it was great, it does leave my hair soft and shinny! Arimino is a Japanese product, I think it has less chemical and therefore, less damage to our hair...

dont think you can do rebonding at rm250 at A Cut Above lei...anyway, my advise is to go to better salon to do the rebonding...the cheaper ones will damage your hair and you most likely end up looking flat...

I would like to share my experience in KL from most of the saloons i went to to do rebonding n treatment...

A Cut Above Sunway Pyramid & Midvalley - wash hair okie ler.. the stylists quite friendly n will talk to me (wont so bored) I blow dry straight n is really natural n nice tongue.gif but pricey lor..

Snips Wangsa Maju - when i was still student at college.. i rebonding there.. quite a tough experience for me cus d hair wash was EXTREMELY TIRING for my neck.. cus the stylist need to wash my hair just above my neck, i had to lift my head myself for them to wash lor.. dono lah i didnt have such experience with other saloons cus maybe this stylist extremely slow with the washing part, and unlike other stylists at other saloons they use hand to lift my head up then supported my neck, rinse few times then let my head down to rest for like 2 seconds then lift + support my head again.. SNIPS totally rinse for 30-40 minutes n i had to use my own neck strength to support (hair was very long so very heavy cry.gif )

Rebonding at Snips took me 6 hours vmad.gif

A Saloon Subang Empire - hair stylist girl disappointing me.. I said i want more volume from the blow dry so that my hair doesnt look so flat, the stylist thought i wanna curl ~~ In the end, i went in with straight hair, came out with auntie-looking curly hair that look like SHIT .. luckily my bf didnt laugh at me cus i look older than him cry.gif

La Mode Midvalley - My favourite hair wash saloon so far ! Used to go there wash hair n do hair scalp treatment for like half a year non stop.. but now switch to kim marie cus the girl massage my head longer rolleyes.gif & price at La Mode also quite expensive for just hair wash RM50 @.@

Kim Marie Puchong - i say YES to this saloon for hair wash.. if u girls wanna go there wash hair look for QIQI.. her skills ichiban.. especially massage hahaha !!! She really can massage for u for 30 minutes if u request ^^ Hair wash only cost RM27 laugh.gif

SS14 Subang (forgot the name of the saloon liaw) - not bad lah..

so far this is the list i can remember.. lol

hi guys n gals, i like to ask for opinions.

im a guy with shoulder length hair, curvy at hair ends, thus the longer my hair grows, the voluminous it gets. hair end tends to curve out like 'wings'.

i have no intentions of cutting it despite of negative comments received. i dun wanna straighten it which cud make me look sissy, i like to retain the natural look. wat is the best method to overcome my grieves?

My hair is like 3 inch after bra strap line .. any place to intro for rebonding service with a tight budget??

I just did my relaxing rebonding using loreal product yesterday. It looks natural and a bit volume. I like it but may be can't lasting compared with using sheseido product.

nod.gif Totally agree with you, shiseido would have a better outcome comparing with loreal.
Your hair will have soft and silky look with shiseido rebonding cream.. So far, i haven't get any negative feedback on this product

where do you girls do your rebonding? Is it necessary to go to a korean salon to get the optimum results of rebonding? Is the follow up treatment after rebonding necessary?

My wife went to MILLENNIUM Hair & Nail Salon at THE WELD. A disaster and was overcharged by the proprietress Lai Peng.

It's more of what products and the skills of the hair stylist actually. smile.gif I've tried L'oreal and Shiseido and Shiseido gave me much better results. Follow up treatments are required for best result and if you wanna keep your hair in better condition. biggrin.gif

But I'd like to know what sort of treatment do you guys usually get (after rebonding), serum? mask? I've got those so-called "treatments" after rebonding then found out that it was actually hair mask applied on then they wrap up my hair and put a heater over it....... and it costs me RM60!!!! Which I find a total rip off as I could've bought the same tub of hair mask (for almost the same price) and do it at home as many times as I would like. >__< Advice please? And I've met stylists who've tried to psycho me into getting "treatments" after rebonding

yeah like wat crys said. Split end can cause breakage and hair fall in some ppl.

if your hair is falling after rebonding I'm guessing the chemical was put on so long/too strong. Get some treatment after rebonding smile.gif

Go for Loreal Xtenso rebonding, now they're doing it with steampod (a flat iron with steam) which protects your hair.

Alternatively, you can go for Shiseido's rebonding cream, where your hair become really straight but loses its volume. Sort of like the chopstick unnatural straight

Cut my hair at ss2 popular salon and selected professional stylist to cut which turned out the result is worst that those 10 minutes hair cut shops. Maybe I expected too much from the so called "profesional" ppl ==

not recommended especially for rebonding service.

it was my second rebonding with the salon. straighten my hair in July and paid extra for "director's service", total cost RM200. but it was not straight after one wash 3 days later. went back to the salon and he agreed to redo the rebonding again but "he had to" charge another RM30 for wash and blow service. he insisted on the additional charges and left me no choice but made an appointment a month later as i had to work overseas.

i have already requested for a reminder call but he did not and i mistaken the appointment for a week later than it was agreed. call again to reschedule the appointment again as i have to be outstation for another 2 weeks. he then said that he might have to charge me extra if i go back after september. i then got very very irritated as he should not keep requesting for additional charges when it was his fault for the unprofessional service. he then put the blame on me saying it is not fair to him as i am going back for the service later as my hair would grow longer and keep postponing as i wish without thinking for others. kept blasting at me without allowing me to talk and hung up my call then.

first, he should understand that it was his fault in the first place that he could not delivered professional service as promised
second, he should not charge the customer to redo rebonding and still money-minded when he has to fix the problem.
third, he should be more understanding as customer dont just sit at home and have all the free time to attend to him when customer also have work commitments.
fourth, hanging up phone call does not solve the problem when again, it was his fault at the first place
