I called Top Passion to enquire about their rebonding, and was quoted the promo price of RM280-300 for my long hair (bra-length). Thought it was quite cheap until I asked them what brand will they be using and the lady told me its some china brand. If good brands like shiseido/l'oreal then it will be RM400 and above. It's a good thing I asked because I only believe in using well established brands because the last thing i need is my hair falling in patches (which has happened to some girls on some forums i've read). I'm not sure if you girls check what brands they use but it's really important.
Anyhos, I will be going back to La Mode in MV, was quoted RM350 for rebonding and cut. They use shieseido or l'oreal. I did my hair with them previously early this year and was happy with the outcome. Can't wait for my hair to look pretty again, lol

QUOTE(debbieyss @ Nov 10 2009, 10:42 PM) How often you gals do rebonding? For me, I will do once every 10 months or 12 months. I do mine once or twice a year, depending on how unruly my hair gets. I have a hair iron as well which helps but sometimes I choose to rebond so I dont have to spend extra time doing my hair.

QUOTE(moody5 @ Nov 16 2009, 09:51 AM) the shiseido is good for me too! I hv tried all sort of different brand but Only the black + white pack of shiseido (if you got it from shops, it is around rm100 per set) is doing good on my hairs... last month an saloon in Jalan Ipoh (KL) quoated me RM200 for the shiseido rebonding! But i permed my hair at last as bored with rebonding..heheehe I think they used the black and white pack for me too coz I saw her pouring it in front of me RM200 is way too cheap for shisedo. I noticed that when some saloons have promotion for rebonding they dont usually use the good brands. Mostly non-branded China brand so just to be sure always ask what brands they're using. Where did you perm your hair?

QUOTE(joyfulgal @ Nov 18 2009, 01:16 AM) anyone went to Top Passion - Tropicana City Mall recently for digital perm or rebonding? currently looking for a good place to do either perm or rebonding. wana change hairstyle. anyways, any good recommendations around puchong area?reasonable price would be good.. I called them up last week, the tropicana and damansara outlet. They're currently having a promo, about RM300 for long hair - cut, rebonding and treatment. But when I asked if they were using loreal/shisedo, the lady said some china brand. If I want those brands it will cost me RM400++. Maybe you can check with them what brand they're using first before deciding.

QUOTE(a_pearl @ Dec 8 2009, 03:58 PM) I called them just now asking how much they charge rebonding for medium hair length. Person in charge said around RM300++. But when i asked, are they using shiseido, the guy said they never use shiseido. only l'oreal, kerastase and branded materials. That's odd because they definitely use shiseido. Perhaps you could speak to Elmer or Bill to enquire

QUOTE(madsummer @ Dec 16 2009, 12:45 AM) Gals.....i just did mine in Snips Sg.Wang....it sucks....the professional stylist they have thr is bad.....too bad...for the price they are charging.... You can try snips in Curve next time, look for Jo. She's good but expensive, I remember I paid about RM700 after rebonding, treatment, hair products etc. If rebond alone I think its about RM400 for long hair. QUOTE(adriennejune28 @ Dec 30 2009, 08:48 PM) hi all... im planning to do hair rebonding for the coming CNY... previosly i did mine at Micheal Ling, Sg Wang... that time i did touch up only, for about 3 to 4 inches and it costs me RM280... and last week i went back Michael Ling and he quoted me RM200... today i went and ask at Hair Exhange, Sg Wang... she said RM130 for touch up... basically half head lah... she said will use Shiseido... and RM130 is for cut+pre-treatment and after treatment... my hair is actually quite long, 4 more inches to reach waist... and now im thinking should go for which salon... i never been to Hair Exchange before... scare will get bad effects... Hair Exchange is opposite Snips right? Coz I've done my hair there like three times. They used Xtenso for me but charged me RM300 for what you asked for. Wonder why they quoted me so much, but my hair is quite long, past bra strap.

QUOTE(adriennejune28 @ Dec 31 2009, 10:36 AM) not very sure whether is it opposite Snips... it's at LG floor... is the service there good...? u did there 3 times how was the results...? can last long...? the previous time i did mine at Michael Ling, did it April this year till now... my hair grow very fast... fringe curl already... I can't recall the name of the shop but if it's opposite snips then yes that's the place. service was good, results were also good. I mean my hair didnt come out fried, haha. My stylist was Masaro. Usually it depends on your original hair, if very curly then can't expect it to last long. I have fairly wavy hair so I consider it long lasting if can last up to 2-3 months, which is usually the case no matter where i straighten my hair. Other days I iron my hair myself which is fast and easy.

Volume rebonding would depend on the way they iron your hair right?

QUOTE(Lil Ally @ Feb 5 2010, 01:41 AM) Hey everyone.I need some advice as I'm actually torn between spending rm650 in a cut above midvalley and rm380 in la mode midvalley for rebonding. Any advice or recommendations? Get it done at La mode. Look for Bill Tay. He does my hair. Love his work
