Fuyoo.. my more expensive OCZ also cannot stable at 1.88V at those speeds..

I wonder why memset report the NBspeed as 1600, while CPUid report at 2.1Mhz? Isn't NBspeed and NBfrequency the same thing?

But looking at my own hardware, expensive also cannot reach 1066 stable at 2.1V.
I wonder if I should photoshop my screencap for the lulz.

Seriously though, retarded timings, etc. nothing will make it boot with more than 250Mhz FSB.

Could pump up with more voltage, but heat is an issue.

i always have more luck w/ ram than w/ chips. i think it's reachin its max ledi, pity d ram if i torture it too much...

memset will just list d default nb speed according to d nb multi u set in bios. if u put 8 for ya nb multi, then there's nothing wrong w/ that. memset != cpu-z, cpu-z smarter...

alpha timing of ya ram? i'm sure there're alot of ram guru here can help... (callin bro xixo & others...)

My OCZ DDR2 PC2-8500 / 1066MHz / Gold Edition / 4GB, rated ram timing on the package is 5-6-6-18 at 2.1 for 1066, but chech, cannot even run at that speed at that timing with that voltage stably, tested with memtest86+, because window kantoied when booting (later I recovered using clone HDD.

As for ram setting, want to put higher cas number some more ah? (O_o)

Even my corsair XMS2 before this failed, but that was 960Mhz/480@2.1V (but at least, that ram is rated as 800Mhz ram, not 1066ram like the OCZ, so no complains, because it can run at more than it's rated speed.

Maybe I just got super cursed with overclocking after I got my old Duron 600 to run at 1.2Ghz with 266FSB, before 266FSB was introduced, luck ran out maybe, ha ha ha.
