Thanks.. how about the RAM, since I do not overclock the RAM it should be left at 1.8V ?
1st timer here blush.gif

bro..ur ram default/stock speed is 667/800? coz from ur screenshot i saw 382 means 764..so as bro digswell said setting HTT will affect ur ram speed too..vdimm it depends on what type of ram u r using.. smile.gif

Sry bro..juz saw ur post above..since u set ur divider to 667..i guess 1.8v is enough as 764 is still below the default 800 smile.gif

Lolx..dont think its bad.
3DMark..Actually for me,Benchmark is aint my taste(Either 3DMark or any other benchmarking test).Real-World Performance makes it shines whistling.gif
Sometimes benchmarking tools are half-sided like SPI..etc
But benchmark is an easy way to see the processor performance, but make benchmark as your 2nd source..
As i see into Reviews, most of it didnt really true..
ie : Intel Core 2 Extreme 45FPS,while mine around 40 FPS,the review shows 20FPS....I dont know why..but.. sleep.gif

Yup agree..some review out there is totally not reliable..have to refer to real life or real time self testing..for me 3D Mark 06 is heavily depend on the CPU..the higher the clock the higher the total score wink.gif

Having a Phenom 9950 BE, I tried to run my Corsair 4g Dominator at 1066, Its not stable, always hang... thats also when i still havent change the optimal timing yet...
I also adjust the vdimm to 2.1v, still couldnt get 1066...

Am i missing something here ?
*
Juz took a look at ur ram official site..it mentioned 1066Mhz at 2.1v..previously my friend also have a muskhin 1066 performance ram but can't run at the speed of 1066Mhz either on my amd rig or intel rig no matter on what voltage..for my rig is ok as X2 dun really support 1066Mhz but his E7200 can't make it as well..after all he RMA the ram and get a new pair kit but my friend told me the ram is running well in the computer shop at the speed of 1066Mhz with a gigabyte mobo as the technician there showed him rclxub.gif ..mind to tell us what mobo u r using bro or like bro sepul mentioned downclock ur ram divider to 667/800 to test blush.gif ..

Haha..nice lapping there bro rclxms.gif ..noob question here..the sand paper u used to lap is started with 800?
QUOTE(MENCHELSEA @ Nov 24 2008, 12:31 PM)
For HDT , The copper Pipe is mill to get the flatter surface.. so the middle heatpipe that facing the proc will have thin layer .

If u " ter over lapping " u 'll end up with holes in the surface..  doh.gif

That the basic of milling process , i've learn once working as a milling operator.. brows.gif
*
haha.."ter" over lapping (nice word)..i guess for HDT type dun need to lap anymore since the heatpipe is already contacting directly to the IHS..
