if u take 100 units also i think no one will be offering u that price tongue.gif

i support ur statement.
those end users who stil can bought at Rm3XX is balance stock from PC fair.
why PC fair the dealers can get so cheap and sell at RM360-RM399 ?

QUOTE
when u see the pc fair RM399 or RM360 because during the fair, WD gave them commitment on WDTV + passport +myBOOK = 200 units, they got funding on the booth subsidy. but the price you see is only avaible in pc fair, after fair is normal price. those shops who stil can selling at RM3XX is keep balance stock from pc fair.

those forumers who pm me press my price to RM399 i can understand ur feeling as a consumer, but dont be rude when negotiate the price, i don like mention their name here.

avenger, just saw your WDTV thread last nite, basing on the selling price, i think you've quite attractive pricing, at least in Pg. One computer shop in Bukit Jambul complex is selling at RM449 without keeping stock.

Is tis babe support HDMI video and audio output?
which means juz using a single HDMI cable and pass the audio signal in digital format for AV receiver to decode it. Does it passes the DTS-HD and DOLBY True HD and LPCM audio thru HDMI?

It does have HDMI output. However, it wont do LPCM or any lossless codecs.

So which means the audio (DTS, Dolby Digital, DTS-HD, Dolby True HD, LPCM) can pass thru HDMI in digital form and lets the AVR to decode it?
Does the optical output can pass DTS raw signal for AVR to decode?

Yet to try out lossless codecs. But, no issue with DTS n DD via HDMI. Btw, it's mkv files. Works flawlessly

Are you sure?

The flier stated RM360 only for WDTV. If you bought it for RM399, show them the flier and ask for refunds.

I got it for RM360 only but need to wait, hopefully can get it by next week. sad.gif

no lah, i didnt get it at rm399. ok i will tell the story again. i was there first in line at the WDTV booth. ask how much, they point to the poster with the price printed RM360 BUT they asked for RM399. talk 3 talk 4, call the manager, manager call supplier. ask me to come back in 5 minutes for them to verify. i came back, they told me they sold out. Only got 2 units. Ask me to put down payment and wait till end of the year to collect. This is at RM399.

In the end I bought from APAC in Lowyat after PC Fair at rm360 (but i reserved it during PC Fair period to get this price). Actually I bought the 400gb passport combo at RM690
