digitalKL, from your feedback on the WD playing the large 1080p M2TS bluray files.. I believe this is the symptom.. need to process the blu0ray "elementary" streams before can play properly with your WD...

Hello Sifu out there,
No sure if anyone is having the same problem with the HDMI, out of 3 HDMI cable i have, only 1 work with the WD TV, called WD support and was told the cable have to be HDMI v1.2 and above compliance. I am wondering if there is different in the pin configuration for different HDMI version. btw, the box is running the latest 1.01 firmware. Thanks in advance. Maybe just a matter of faulty hdmi cables, don't bend them or put pressure on them in any way.

Hi,My problem is no display when using the other 2 HDMI cables, and these cables work well with my Sony and Philips DVD players on the same same LCD TV. It just doesn;t work with WD TV. For those who want cheapo HDMI cable, you may get it from Carrefour... RM23 for 2M. Any volunteer to try it out? Cheers and happy 2009... |
