hi, im planning to get some skincare products from overseas for business purposes.

how much tax involves (import, sales tax, or any other tax), i will need to pay?

If the products never been sold in Malaysia, what I should I do? Do I need to send any samples to examine before I bring into the country?

No tax and as your other question I not really sure, try check with customs call center.

I know this question might be off or the same that I last posted but...
My friend going to preorder 2 nendroids from GoodSmile Company and ship be using EMS. (cost RM289.41 not inclusing shipping).

He ask me which is cheaper or better to ship to, Singapore or Malaysia?
What/How will my friend be taxed by shipping to Singapore and/or Malaysia?

I know for Malaysia anything less than RM500 will not be taxed but I'm not so sure for Singapore. Or maybe my understanding is wrong for the Malaysia tax.

Help me please. smile.gif

From code 8517 12 000 no tax for phone but you need to apply AP from Sirim. PS4 and Xbox One got 10% duty fee and 10% sales tax under code 9504 50 000

If you are using third party like poslaju, dhl or etc you can pay them after they cleared it for you.

Hi,

I have bought a China IPTV device (looks like a media player) and cost me around USD300.

Have asked the seller to state much lower price. i.e. USD20 & will send through DHL

This is more my personal use and not for trading.

Will i still get taxed?

Thanks in advance
