Hi sifus, I have a question that might or not be an interesting case. This is my first time so please criticize as you see fit so I can learn more.

I am planning to import car parts that would cost roughly RM390 each after conversion. To benefit from bulk purchase, I have planned to buy 10 of those and the total logistic/postal fee for 10 of those exact same car part would cost RM90 in total (in one box). Resultant, my total cost is RM390 * 10 + RM100 = RM4000 . As far as I know, items bellow RM500 (including postal fees) will not be taxed. In my case will my item be taxed ?since each unit + postal fee is less than or equal to RM500 .
TQ sifus.

What type of bicycle?

Racing bicycle (HS# 8712.00 110) 0% import duty + 6% GST
Children's bicycle (HS# 8712.00 120) 0% import duty + 6% GST but need Import licensed (MDTCC)
Other that above (HS# 8712.00 190) 25% import duty + 6% GST

Good day. Thinking buying receipt printer from alibaba.
As i see aliexpress the price more higher. last time i buy around rm280 which 3 items barcode scanner.
Come quite late around 1 month+ and but no custom fee.
So this time i wan try alibaba, what the different.
I see alibaba item+deliveryfee also lower cost compare to Aliexpress. And delivery time as said also tak 6-10days only.
This time my item around 2 item total rm460. will it kena custom? i heard some said alibaba will kena? really?

Thank for guide me

Hi kehrel77 , I am planning to get a Shisha set from US: Shishabucks The price inclusive of delivery to Malaysia is USD159 + USD50 which high likely it will be taxed when arrived in Malaysia.

I am wondering, since the manufacturer is based in China and I know someone there, can I ship it to my friend and ask her to ship it back to me, declaring it as a personal / used item?

Will I still be taxed in that case?

Would appreciate hearing your thoughts on this. Thanks!
