btw, i try to register thru ATI site but cant see Gainward on their list. Palit is there though..

Gainward 4850 with the custom HSF? From pictures, it doesn't have heatpipes like the GS. Slightly different HSF there.

seems that normal 4850 dun have heatpipes, only GS have heatpipes

i read a few reviews that most 4850 with refences cooler hit 60C idle and 90C load.

Only 4850GS gainward and 4850 iceQ4 HIS
has temperature of 40C+ idle 60C+ load

Cant decide between this 2 lol

why not go with the GS? you can never go wrong with that

go for gS, its cheaper and the performance also almost identical to iceQ4 1

i need cheap card for next upgrade lor...

4850GS, higher factory OC-ed clock speed.

Just google around for the picture of the custom cover. There is no heatpipe.
