V2 already, congratulations!
Any news on the 4850x2? Or maybe 4870x2 GS since Palit already has one, so a Golden Sample should be appearing soon?

Mean looking card! Cool color scheme! Prefer this one than Palit's |

QUOTE(twopiece @ Nov 11 2008, 01:55 AM) Mine is not GS...normal version..custom fan..its not signal lost...the scrn still on ....it will flash and flash sometimes...sometimes just black out n once i exit the program den no problem d.... Hmm, this does sound like the problem I had while having the first batch which I RMA-ed earlier. The moment the program is turned off, the display either comes back immediately or remains black until the next restart. |

That P4 2.8GHz is definitely going to bottleneck the 4850. Either upgrade the CPU, or go for a lower end card since you won't be able to unleash the full potential of the 4850 with that processor.

But, bout the black screen one, I encountered this once or twice before. Right after the loading bar, it went all black. That was 8.10 though, and very rarely. Probably once or twice only.

Oh, mine I uninstalled, reboot safe mode, used the driver cleaner and then installed it. Works perfectly fine.

P35 or P45 depending on budget. Or if you want something new, but not into overclocking, can opt for the lite P45 (Asus has them) without the CFX, or the P43.

No DVI-HDMI convertor for the 4850GS.
I think the Vantage is only for 4870GS isn't it? |

hahn87, your PC specs? PSU especially. The card should not crash at Turbo/Normal mode.

Any 4850 owners playing COD5 noticing err white lines? I get those white lines between graphics, and only happened when I look at it at certain view. Using 8.11 and all stock clock also happen.

It only happens at certain angle, disappears when I turn the view a little. ._. Guess I will try to reinstall the driver first.

RM2350 versus RM1799 (Gainward reference 4870x2). Wonder if the performance increase justifies the RM550 increase or not though.

Mine is like... idling also buzz, damn loud that time. Irritating -.- Is it normal for PSU or what? A while got a while don't have. Last time is during gaming, in menu or whatever when the FPS is damn high got buzzing. But that one is soft.. compared to this time ._.
