4850 or 4870? which one is better? 1GB DDR3 or 512mb DDR5?

4870GS 512MB definitely man, not sure at 1920x1080, but 4870GS has more bandwidth and processing power.

i think better topup to 1GB since GTA IV really hunger for vram..
not to forget the multicore proc..

err.. so i need to push and pressure to speed things up? call their office everyday tutt kao kao will get things done faster??

1900 reso might need to turn down a bit if want to use 512mb imho...
better topup a couple of hundreas for 1gb...

laggish frame rate is d big prob and u dont want to experience it with ur lcd aite??
vram is oso important when playing game on high reso + high setting...

ooo..ic..so i need to lower down the resolution then..thanks for advice..maybe 4870 1GB shud be enuff..ACBEL psu 500 should be more than enuf for this gpu right?

just call dem weekly asking for the card status.

Please allow us to explain how the RMA works here. Generally, we try to expedite all RMA claims. As long as we can repair or replace, we will do it asap. But RMA is also affected by factors such as principals turn around time, RMA policy, control & how strict, obsoleted models, market demand/supply, workload, RMA claims qty, shipping costs, new models, pricing. And many of these factors are beyond our control. That is why turnaround time can change even for the same product (sometimes fast, sometimes slow).

Bigger disty are affected by many of the issues above compare to a smaller one. But a smaller disty may faced serious problems like losing the distributorship, high operation cost (due to low volume) and limited coverage (cannot service all areas).

We are constantly improving our customer service so you should see an improvement in the future. Already some of you can see faster response to our Abit RMA turnaround time.

You can enquire about your RMA status but please be mindful of our difficulties as explained above. What our customer service girl can do is pay more attention to your case. Please trust us, we won't hold your RMA on purpose.

We appreciate all your feedbacks here, and will discuss them on our next technical meeting. Thank you for you support, understanding and patience.
