luckily i'm free from proxify problem. i think they might be testing the IPv6 implementation. anyway still stupid move. dont bother to upgrade your package, last month my company's sdsl went down. supposedly they settled it in 24 hours guess what it took nearly 96 hour to get connected again. what do you expect? even we paid 600+ monthly fees that is how crappy we've been treated.

tongue.gif i am not behind anything now, a guy from tmnet call ask me to check it my ip address, i check what is my ip, it show correct ip, i am ok with that now. i ask him what happen, he only said the higher level might be change something and also not sure as he said he was ask to follow up to check on the status. by the way my connection have be on for 10 days now. i no disconnect or reconnect, i just feedback to them and wait.

hmm.gif i not argue with him cause no point argue with him as he is in the helpdesk, probably dunno must about this. now see if they send me email also.

i'm unproxified since yesterdaya evening. i'm at Bangi.

yesterday morning (26/11), 8am i connect my internet at office, enter http://whatismyipaddress.com/ and saw my ip proxified. But normal browsing on very smooth speed, just slow on downloading.

then after office hour, at 5.30pm i downloading Avira Free Installer from download.com and surprising i get 1++ kbps download speed, then re-check http://whatismyipaddress.com/, and saw my ip already unproxified. Wow...

then try offline modem, reconnect, and totally i'm unproxified rclxms.gif

MAYBE because of so so so many complain about slow browsing, slow downloading, or can't enter some website and can't download from rapidshare, etc... event if want download a small file. So, tmnet unproxified all user for now rclxms.gif

well ... thou already unproxified at cheras area, but the IPs assigned are still 115.*, 118.*, 60.48.*

nothing compares to the good old 208.218.*

proxy or not proxy with the new range of IPs sucks.

Agreed. Even though I'm unproxified, that doesn't make my download speed magically faster.

I do feel my connection is improving and it has never been disconnected (24x7). And, I am perplexed with the download speed test result of my 512kbps package right now:

It must be something wrong with SpeedTest's algorithm. I've repeated many times and they are above 512kbps (test under FF3).

The craziest download speed running under IE8:

Hmm, I need to try other speed test websites.

This test result is more reliable (The download speed is above 70% of the expected download speed):

For those who are proxified and need to download from websites like rapidshare, I suggest using OpenDNS. Hehehunter suggested it, and my internet is quite fast now and I can download from Rapidshare!

Can everyone report each of the heading of your IP?
It appears that only 115., 118., and 60. IP are available at the moment no matter how we reconnect.
