After unproxified, accesses to cnn.com & bbc.com are quite slow. Any opinion?

Right, it makes sense. But 15 seconds to access a page of bbc.com is too long. Any relation between proxified and content downloading?

-btw, at mont kiara...

Yes, it is possible for the BBC servers to be flooded with many traffic. It can experience Digg- or Slashdot-effect.

To know whether you are being proxified or not depends on the tool you use to signify it. Downloading will be difficult if a website doesn't manage page cache control and web-page design in a way that improves user experience.

Thanks. First of all, world peace! For several weeks, bbc.com was fast enough. Anyway, I will check tomorrow again. I hope this slow access to bbc.com could be solved soon.

i tried to open bbc.com & cnn.com
from enter to fully load page 5~7sec only
me at Bangi

maybe at your area have some problem, OR try reboot/turn off modem about 3~5 minutes & reconnect again.
then flush your DNS, clear your browser cache/cookies (just like almost TMNet helpdesk will tell you upon calling them about slow connection, but sometime it works rclxms.gif )

Just to let you know, TM's proxy is full transparent now. So dynamic DNS service like DynDNS and No-IP can detect our real WAN IP now. Save me a couple of bucks since I was ready to find a VPN/SSH Tunnel service for my routers.

It's still 10 secs. Mostly I feel slow if the downloading time is more than 3 secs. I think I am too impatient. Anyway, "unproxified" can assure fast internet, right?

Yay, same here. 60.48 and 60.49 are good IPs to me. But I can rarely get 60.49. nowadays..

Same here, unproxified. But no more IP 218 no matter how many times I restart the router.
