hehe.luckily niclasteoh's shop got troley.freakin heavy.oh yea...when do i use the rca connector cable?cause i was assuming those cable would go to my mobo with the 6 holes thingy..but doesnt fit..so i just use the 3.5mm to dual rca connect to one hole to the mobo thing..am i doing it right? all but the center sat doesnt have sound.or do i need to get moreĀ  3.5mm to dual rca connecting cable?
*
so how was it? much better than C3?

u just need to connect the 3 RCA (front, center and rear) to the respective hole in your mobo, using the RCA - 3.5mm cable supplied in the box. if only the center doesnt work it appears the sub and center is reversed. try to double-check the cable connection behind the speaker. or swap the subwoofer in your sound setting.

well the RCA-RCA cable is supposedly for peripherals such as perhaps DVD player. It's weird cause in R501 they give 3x both cables. so i have total of 6 input cables.

yes when new just need a quick burn in. in moderate use at least give a week. burn in both the speakers and your eardrums. lol

yes. should be available in computer shops. maybe HCS5640 is designed for something like dvd player that they decide not to include 3x 3.5mm-RCA cable.

i'll take some tomorow.kinda lazy wanna move it again tonite.hehe.

sound in terms of movies..cant really say much at the moment, cause the thing is they dont provide enough 3.5mm-rca cable..so i've yet to fully utilize them yet..but i'll get to you once i get the rest of the cables.

edit: so i tried to swap the cable to the sw input..yeaa it is capable of doing the chest thumping bass..but then again dont really dare to pump it to the max now..will test it tomorow morning.hehe

Does anyone try to use S530D Digital optical input?
See like it cannot support digital signal from my Philips PCS805 because the digital signal from the soundcard is AC3/DTS format..

I am using optical connection for one of my macbook. No problem getting it to work. Except VLC in mac gives me cracking sounds
sometime. So I just use analog for my main macbook.
