What sound card r u using?

The bass weak may be due to the quality of internal sound card. C3 required a good sound card otherwise if can't perform well.

I guess your subwoofer have to place it on a corner.
Make sure you leave one inch or more air space for the subwoofer (not letting it touch the wall)
experiment with different surfaces like placing wood on the wall/floor. Different surface bounce differently
also,spread your satellites as far away as possible (left<---->right) so you'll get better stereo sound and lower volume on the sats.

I'm migrating from 5.1 to 2.1 channels hence I planning on pairing my Xonar Essence with any of Edifiers top line products.
On the top of my head I gonna go for S530D but need advice from edifier users though sound is a subjective thing I need somebody to guide me with the Sub and Satellites SQ.

I don't like deep Subs like s730. I prefer tight bass since I love to hear the detail in songs that use twin paddles my preferred bands like As I lay Dying, In flames and COB (metal core and melodic death metal bands) do use it a lot but my ears are not bounded to certain type of musics only. I do enjoy every type of music.

I also like satellites with tweeter and clarity is very important for me, I believe S530D satellites have tweeters, right?

Any suggestion and advice before I buy the s530D?

i believe S730 do produce tighter bass no?
