My answer is no they're not. Having heard it myself and even had the chance to tune the sound, I can't really get the sub to "lower it's extra BOOM" to the overall sound. A shame since it's satellite really was something beyond my expectation. Maybe others have they're own opinion but for non basshead music lovers it's better if you guys audition this speaker thoroughly before you get it.

hey guys. finally just got my hands on S730. probably my most worthwhile RM1000 ever spent in my whole hardware enthusiastic experience n due 2 the fact that this baby wont depreciate so fast unlike RM1000 graphics card. later i will post the pics up.

Gratz on ur new speaker ,i'm also planning to get s730 from lyp soon, but dunno how to carry it from 4th floor to basement carpark lol...is it really tat heavy n must need 2 guys to carry it?

its real heavy man...even i try 2 carry the subwoofer 4 few metres back pain like hell dy...u need mayb 3-4 ppl 2 carry just the subwoofer since u b going down few KM from 4th floor dy

haha even the great logitech with their signature Z5500 ardy got tapao kuat2 by S750 right now the king of sound goes 2 edifier haha

haha ic...i m 20 plus working full time in senq TV hifi department aiya when u reach my age time,,,there will b better speaker than s730 liao this kind of technology no need 2 chase until so hard one...u still got long way 2 go so just chill wey

budget i can simply tembak my speaker model 2 u if u want

I see S530 and S730 are Edifier upper range. Is the difference in quality worth it? Or get a bookshelf?
Love the E3100 vocal, but the bass quantity is not enough in proportion to the vocal. Eg. Cymbal and bass guitar too soft.
Using E3100 for music ( looking for better one ) and movie ( good enough to me ).

choose s730 for bass. but you'll sacrifice sound quality because s530 sounded better than s730
it's your choice
different ppl different taste

I don't think bookshelf is suitable for movies, get S730D, better for movie and musics
