A question for C3 owners, or maybe Mr Edifier himself-- how much do the C3 satellites weigh? icon_question.gif I'm thinking of putting my subwoofer on the floor under my desk, and the satellites on top of my bookshelves which are directly next to each other ON the desk-- one on each (will be scarily high up), but am worried the bookshelves may not survive and fall apart laugh.gif. My bookshelf top maximum load is about 2-3 kg I think. Can ah? Because if I don't put up there I no space to put at all, floor is all full... sad.gif
*
C3 sub is about 9kg in weight wink.gif probably not a good idea to put on top of shelf

What is the best Edifier can offer for 2.1 with optical input and wireless remote control?
*

C3 satellites not very heavy. even its subwoofer also light. the heavy part is its amplifier, because many things including the transformer are there.

i am user here and can give a rough calculation for it satellite 1.2kg each 2x = 2.4kg sub is 9kg; amplifier is 3kg.. total almost 16kg including cables and all wink.gif

Thanks for the prompt reply! 1.2kg per satellite should not be a problem; the woofer is going on the floor and the amplifier on the table itself, so all should be fine. Now the only problem I will have is moving the satellites onto the bookshelves, which will involve climbing tables. laugh.gif And how long are the cables between the satellites and amplifier, and woofer to amp? I need about 3 feet to be safe. The cables provided are longer than that right?

the cables hu-uh
actually, i have never notice how long it is...
3ft = +-100cm... if this is your minimum requirement, no worries, your wish is granted as it is longer 3-4 times from your expectation wink.gif

Just bought my C3 to replace my AltecLansing 321.

The thing is now I'm pondering whether should I replace my internal built in Realtek HD audio soundcard tho.

If wanna change recommend which one is better?

Cables should be about 2m or roughly 6ft in length. So no worries there.

you can either go for creative X-Fi or if you are willing to spend more for being an audiophile then, audiotrak or zero dac is your companion

u need to listen first. different ppl have different opinion. most importantly. the kind of songs u listen.
the only part i like about the E3100 is its subwoofer. the satellites are just average. if u are satellites person, then try something like M3300.
if you're a subwoofer person, then get E3100. real simple.

I was looking at the same thing too just now...hahaha

730 is a bit too big for me, the woofer is HUGE.

I like 530D because they have a very nice white box...match my TV cabinet just nice.

Anyway, where can I find S2000??

Yeah 730 is big but the bass is very good. I just want to know whether there is a known problem like 330. I'm gonna use the 530/730 with WDTV and DVD player using digital coax or optical.
