as for the psp 3000, there is still not much news on that though..but even if he gets the psp 3000, u're stuck to umd disk only..bout the interlacing, according to a friend of mine which owns a psp 3000, it's not that obvious (only obvious if one looks closely into the screen) but for viewing video,it's far better than psp 2000..as for psp 2000, if not mistaken the newer mobo is hackable already(can't recall which model)2 shops that we will recommend is either SCE or bernardmoh (both forumers)

hacked ready psp is around 900+ to 1000+ if im not wrong...serach around LYN, lot of good seller..i bought 2nd hand frm my fren..so i cant intro to u..

why don't you try Race Driver 2006 also called Toca 3. Very nice game. And maybe Midnight Club : L.A Remix (really recomended. rclxms.gif

My house got no electricity yesterday mad.gif had to sleep witout my aircond

So all psp2000 is hackable? hmm.gif Can you tell me where is both shop situated? Is there any psp2000 stocks left or should I buy 2nd one?

dear all sifu, current i own a psp slim, and i would like to plug my psp to my lcd. as i know i need to buy a cable and from the shop, the people tell me that there are 2 type of cable.
Type A is the cable with 3 plug
Type B is the cable with 5 plug
Is there any different if i am using the Type A cable for my LCD tv??

2nd question is that how big will the picture in the LCD if i am watching movie with my psp

Introduce me if you can ^^ I want to have lots of options.

psp2000 is dead expensive. shocking.gif *shot self* How much does a shop charge if you want them to make you a pandora battery and is it dangerous? can my psp be brick?

and tell me some games that is addictive. I like RPG, shooting, racing, etc...etc... but dont like the sport games (e.g. footbal, etc...etc...) brows.gif

Type A is AV cable, for music, video, web browsing, XMB only (CANNOT play game PSP game, but PSX game maybe can because in firmware 5.00 Sony stated yes, but not really sure)

Type B is Component cable, to play game and do what AV cable can do.

There is another way from buying the AV cable by using the USB cable & RemoteJoy application.
The cons is only certain games can use the application.

Requirements :
1)A phat/slim psp which has custom firmware 3.52m33-3 or any firmware above it.
*Minimum requirement is 3.52m33-3*

Guide

1) First of all,you need to set your kernel to 3.xx/4.xx.You can do so in recovery mode or in your VSH menu (if you have the VSH addon plugin installed)

**Recovery : Hold the off switch for 3-5 seconds,then HOLD R and boot your psp up.Now go to configuration,and click X at the "Game Folder Homebrew" option until it displays as 3.xx/4.xx kernel.Example : On a 3.52m33-3/4 psp,it should show as 3.52 kernel.

2) Download the 5.00M33 installer : http://exophase.com/files/psp/5.00M33.rar

3) Download the 5.00 eboot.pbp : http://exophase.com/files/psp/500.PBP

4) Use your preferred software to extract the 5.00M33 rar file.You should now get two folders (UPDATE and Translate) as well as a readme.txt file.

5) Copy the UPDATE folder and paste it in ms0:/PSP/GAME.

** It should now look like this : ms0:/PSP/GAME/UPDATE/eboot.pbp **

6)Time,for the 5.00 eboot (step 2).

7) Copy the 500.PBP and paste it in your ms0:/PSP/GAME/UPDATE directory.

** It should now look like this : ms0:/PSP/GAME/UPDATE/eboot.pbp and 500.pbp **

8) That's all,seriously.All you need to do now is to run the installer on your PSP.

** The installer will seem very official like,but don't worry,that's how it's supposed to be like **

9) Remember,once the update is over,PRESS X/O when it asks you to do so or your psp will brick!!

10) What else,enjoy!

this is watching a umd with component cable



looks good isn't it. but dunno the result with converted mp4 movies.
