JtuneD: nice model there... i guess the quality would be one of the best maisto has ever created... coz i think maisto really did great on the grey superleggera... thumbup.gif nice haul there!
hi there, i still cant understand the high pressure air tank u mention, and wats hyrdroplanning treatment? blink.gif mind to show some pictars on progress? thanks! smile.gif

advocado: have u tried using tyre polisher/leather protector on these diecast tyres? hows the result? if they work then this sounds one great solution! thumbup.gif but otherwise, i fear for the negative chemical reaction especially with the leather protector...

cham2020: wow cham! finally u manage to get this marvelous twinpack! this able to poison me now! laugh.gif

tkt: hihi tkt, hows the stock available for 2006-2007 twinpack skyline? no news geh?i oredi got poisoned by cham liao lor... icon_question.gif

The tank that I was mention was this....user posted image
& then attach with air gun like one in workshop.....

Hydroplanning is the one that you learn in license test......which mean driving or riding in wet road.So the trick is just wet the surface that you want to put your model & then keep rolling tyres until you satisfied with the result....(it will be even good if you put some soap or special formulated addictives to clean the tyres)

that is....so hope that help... smile.gif

advocado: sounds great there... thanks for info wink.gif

cham2020: the limited edition does add great value to the twinpack eh... anyway, i decide to get that twinpack 2006-2007 from tkt le... biggrin.gif whaha!

Cyprid Dark ii: wow.. tats one huge tank! don think i can get myself with tat tank... sweat.gif sounds nice for the hydroplanning idea! thumbup.gif however some of my models the tyres are pretty difficult to rotate, its like u need force to push those tyres as they are pretty firmly attached to the models...

It's pretty close to HLJ price. go to http://www.hlj.com. Man! the yen has gain momentum in last three months... all models cost 10% more... so spend wisely....

I personally think Kyosho quality is better than Ebbro... if given a choice to choose between 1/43 GT-R (R35) Ebbro and Kyosho.... I'll go for Kyosho.... do doubt about that!!!

bru,

my small collection are still in thier boxes...

a drybox like this...control humidity as to not to allow fungus etc...I have a smaller version to house my camera lenses so prolly have to opt for bigger ones to store my collections...

price not bad, cheapest range equal to a new Autoart model. but how big is 38 litre or ist' same as catalogue? too dark for display.. any other colors & box design? wink.gif

rclxms.gif Walau! you guys are damn serious about preserving your collections thumbup.gif

As you can see, in the west, collectors only keep it in display cabinet, of course avoid from direct sunlight.... That's mean... zero maintenance cost....
There are lots of photos over diecastxchange.... go have a look... see how they keep their collection in tip top condition... biggrin.gif
