the rs meter cal values cannot be used for your taiwanese spl meter coz they're totally different and that's why your chart looks unusual i.e inaccurate

anyway, the soundcard output shd go into your avr input so that crossover and audyssey settings can be applied.

in any case, you can use your spl meter to do manual measurements using test tones.

For sure it's the room node. Very difficult to settle. Bass trap, acoustic treatment, etc. Not trying to poison you. If you are lazy wt all these, EQ1 would be the ideal solution for that but since the valley is insanely deep, the EQ1 will not be able to get a flat graph out of it.

Anyway, if you do need SPL meter, pls let me know. As for EQ1, it shall be back here in 2 weeks time. You may try it out by then.

Boss, just trying to prove its effectiveness on all kinds of subs. Went to jchong's impressive HT room to audition his setup wt the EQ1. Later stage, it will be in the hands of Mr 13-Ultra of Ipoh. Next stop will be ronnt. If Mr 13-Ultra decided to keep it, I'll be sending the reserve unit up North.

Why 30cm in front of listening position? I thought should be at the listening position.

Peaks and valleys are common, but yeah the valley at 50 Hz is deep! About -26 dB down from 75 dB. Even the valley at 62 Hz quite deep at -18 dB. The EQ1 also won't be able to boost that much to cut that valley completely. I know your placement options quite limited, otherwise you can try other positions.

Also I see the sub starting to roll off sharply at 23 Hz. Means you're missing out the deep, deep bass.
