i'm afraid i aint that expirienced in tort keeping but i do have expirience in keeping star tortoise (around 4 months)... however this impressed fella seems pretty much older and different... my star got RNS twice, dealing wid the second time now T_T (brought them to vets many times now).
i planned to keep the impressed in my balcony at first cos i thought it will be ok but found out that he suffers the heath too much and hates bright places being a mountain tort... so now i am not sure where i can keep him, my other only solution would b a tank, but i'm afraid a tank would not do since he is around 15 cm CL...what enclosure would be suitable anyway... and what else can i try to feed him since he only seems to be eating mushrooms?
(the vet told me he looks healthy and very responsive but a bit dehydrated, she did not know better as well anyway)

is your male or female? i'm not sure what is mine... however... for sure i have been reading, but there is little about impressa care on the net, so i panicked a bit... my impressa ate a bit of pumpkin and some veggie too, which made me very happy, another thing that worried me was that he did not poo for 3 days, but at last the other day he poo... i moved him to my bf garden the other day, gonna get a fence and let him stay in a shaded corner of the garden, the only problem is that the end of the garden has a lot of ant nest... are ants going to be a problem for my tort? where do u keep yours anyway?

i plan to move my RES to an outdoor pond (used to house my dad's KOIs) in the near future. what are the risks? my neighbors have cats and since i live near the jungle, monkeys wander around as well. once in a while, we'll get toads stopping by for a quick stay as well.
