Thanks sam bro.. btw what you normally feed to your IStar Tort? i mean their daily intake..
*
No definite answer as depends on size , temp. , health of animals ...etc

As for wat I feed - almost all green (unless stated as poisonous to tortoise) I feed either as treat or staple !! Varied is always the best way to go !!
Even the so call most complete "whole food" green (in most if not all western literature ) Dandelion I plant and feed my animals as treat or staple for hatchlings !!

other than Pet@Safari, where else can get AST?

is it ok to get plastic tank as start?

I know a lot sifu dont recommend because tortise or turtle always scratch it..
but since AST seldom move around... will it scratch the tank or not?

since the AST will grow big.. not worthwhile to spend on expensive glass tank now.

tongue.gif
*
If small most size plastic tank are OK 30cm and above "guppy brand" or Exo terra ....etc can accomodate to a year !!

If larger I dont recomand glass tank or anything that uses silicon to gum togather !! They will scratch the silicon and leak the tank !! BE WARNED !!

honestly i don't know if they are CB or WC but they both have almost reached their adult size, are active, eating and seem ok at the moment. i got the japanese wood turtle at a certain price n was juz looking to cross check wid fellow turtle owners here, and regarding the impressa... well,  since i could not get much infos on how to take care of Impressa torts (i did get the message that they die often in captivity, but... god bless us!), i tot of asking sifus over here abt it... if u know abt it can u plzzzz help, wanna do the best i can 10x ^^
*
If I know a little more about you and what you prepared to do for them (Impressa) after you got them as you mention "do the best i can 10X " I may just tell/teach you how to keep them alive for over a year (most I know dont last 3-6 mths) and above !!

- What your level or age in tortoise keeping , dealt with sick pet (tortoise )before ?

- Where or what you intend to keep it in ? and how much more you willing to spend to upgrade the enclosure if unsuitable ??

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I know a senior here killed one in weeks !!
