apa tu? i mean ketapang leave..

ketapang leaves is very good for most tropical fish...can soften water and lower ph value by creating 'blackwater''....many use for bettas, discus and also arowana
can get from the tree also known as indian almond tree

Nice bro. For ketapang leaves, pick up the dried 1. Wash until it clean before you use it in tank. Don't use the green leaves.

QUOTE(MoonBlaze @ Dec 5 2009, 04:44 PM)
bro, why not u consider a 6x3x3 fiber tank with front glass panel? I always suggest my customer to go for fiber tank if the size is > 5 ft long, as it is lighter and cheaper than glass tank..
*
Hey Moon Blaze, you in the aquarium business? Good idea too about the fiber tank, but I searched the net it doesn't look really professional or attractive.. No need stand right? So its like a little pond... I would like more info on it thanks.

And guys 1 question yesterday a guy offered me a 5x2' tank for RM250 include stand(he doesn't suggest put outdoors) and no hood. I'm putting the tank outdoors and would like something bigger like 6-8', but the price is good, should I take it or wait for larger tank offer?

Thanks
I just doing w/c and have nothing to do and will upload pics soon...

Bensow, when come to aro you need to consider the glass tank tickness b4 you buy 1. Minimum advisable glass thickness is 10mm. If you can get 1 when 12mm even better.

Bro, try ask wmkr. He bought 1 last time from Kin Fatt. I can say the fish quality is quite good although the price is cheaper than other LFS.

Bro, do WC and try salt + heater first. If can't heal, can proceed to use white spot medicine. I think can find at LFS 1.

Here are w/c photos... And saif why you suddenly talk about glass thickness? I didn't ask anything about it.... Anyway thanks for the advice.

I know some of the pictures are crappy, that's because the water is blur and the glass is full of water drops, its w/c time...

Aro is an aggressive creature. I'm talking about glass thickness because sometimes hobbyist have encounter aro bang into the tank glass.
So, I just advice u on in advance. Thick glass also can support the tank from water pressure from the water inside the tank. smile.gif

If you afraid your aro will jump out through that lid. Just close the Lid. Or put something heavy on the lid to prevent aro jump out.

My 4 footer do have cover like yours. I open the lid a little bit to increase the air ventilation in the tank. Yes I'm taking the risk. wink.gif
