seems to have alot of BURMESE STAR WANNABE in the market.

Guys, instead of asking whether yours is a burmese or a indian. why not google up and check the difference. You will get a better understanding on the diff btw them. if you ask us, we will just answer NO is not a burmese. Therefore do some reading on star tortoise.

For those who say you see this and that at this particular price bla bla bla. Dude, check the price in overseas and local pricing that was once offered. YOU AINT GETTING FOR THAT PRICE that you mention not by chance.

The resemble or look like but THEY ARE NOT. so just move on and admire the beauty of burmese star.

Uzairi...still remember the burm you keep. hehe

burmese don't drop dead as easily as indian, you know?

and do i even need to mention that those 2 distinct species came from different parts of the world and not likely to be mixed up in 1 shipment? which means that you are not going to get any burmese star while browsing through piles of indian star.

and why would anyone sell some f*cking rare tortoise (with more forgiving husbandry) at the price of (fragile) indian? even the source (neigbouring country up north) sells higher than that price!!

ok la i'm gonna stop discussing this up cause it's getting nowhere.

Finding a Yniphora is easier than a Burmese Star I think ( by way of offer ) even thou a Yni is 2 - 3 times more expensive than a BS of the same size !! But all 3 make good , easy to care for pets !!

More sunlight? Basking makes them more active. And basking helps them digest some vitamins. Move more, digest more, can eat more I guess.
