Bought some few months back , a few are weak and when 2 died I assigned/board them to my friend till they are larger or tougher for beginer like me !!!

Cute, i might be getting one soon smile.gif

They live in humid enviroments right? So should i get a covered vivarium or a tub?

Do you think they'll thrive well in a screen enclosure? but with the right substrate like peat moss?

Can i put 1 adult cherry head into a 4 ft tank? lol

Just spray the enclosure often as our country is humid enough for them Just that those extra that we might provide will dry the enclosure a bit thus the supplement spraying to help maintain the humidity !!

Why not even adult Red footed can fit in a 4 ft tank just that substrate need spot cleaning more often as they poo a bit !!

Well then, i guess im ready for my red foot then biggrin.gif

I think it was called "four footed tortoise" as they wrote there, looks really ill.

If you think 888 is expensive, you haven't seen expensive. Some geckos go for 10k.. =.=

OOT, what was the gecko morph? =.=

Lol, smaller fish shops around KL sells ocadias for 9-10 bucks. I got a pair, has been with me for nearly a month now.

Can recommend some diets we can give to our ocadia's?

Sulcatas are originally African based, so something semi-arid or dry would be best...try using big woodchips or recycled paper pellets..

Avoid alfalfa or woodbark....

Sulcata will grow to large proportions if u intend to keep them for many many years...otherwise they are pretty cute fellas...

Just my 2 sen wink.gif

Cheers

When i mean sui yu, i mean the ones they cook for soup dude.

Would you like to cook a fly river turtle for dinner? smile.gif And i don't think anyone calls soft shells "sui yu" other than the ones people use for boiling soup.

Good for you you have tasted, now i know what to try smile.gif

Yeah, i am malaysian chinese, and also, im also sure that lots of people here including me, (besides you) have only seen the ones they serve in chinese restaurants, and usually have white undersides smile.gif .

I also think that soft shell turtles they serve in shops, also are called sui yu, and like you said, to the locals, in north aussie or what other places you stated, might be called sui yu, but to us? blink.gif

I don't want to cause a racket here. Just stating out what i think.
