Hi, I'm currently looking for a laptop to replace my incompetent overheat dell xps 1530 and throughout research through internet and experiences, I'm planning to order sager np8662 from mucro around mid of this November after my uni exam over.
Main reasons why i choose mucro probably because they offer warranty service at lowyat and I prefer it that way so that I can know whats wrong with my laptop and easier to make face-to-face contact with them.

1. Is this specs is good enough for any upcoming games next year such as starcraft 2 or diablo 3?
2. Will I be facing heat problems with this specs particularly the HDD heat?
3. Does the 500G 7200rmp generate more heat than the 300G 7200rmp?
4. The window 7 home premium, is it 64 or 32 bit? Cause I prefer 32-bit or the 64-bit have more advantages than 32-bit?
5. What happen to the option of 15.4" (16:10) WUXGA (1920x1200) with Matt Finished Type Screen because the last time I check the option was available?
6. How long will the laptop reach here in Malaysia from Singapore? I'm staying in Selangor, Subang Jaya.

Theres no high res Matte screen with Sager at all.

For pricing, the odds are not good against us, We are taking the margins from Sager and have to use these margins to service the laptops while the US resellers only have to sell and take margin. We also have to keep the price competitive to give people incentive to buy local. US resellers usually don't have to deal with physical delivery and local warranty since it is usually done by Sager themselves.
The machines from Mucro will always come with the UK/Singapore plug, which is the same as the Malaysian plug. Its a standard plug.

Looking at your laptop, or enjoying your gameplay. trust me, you can't do both at once 

I am an avid gamer...and i play almost every game there is. That's why I will choose a GPU that's on the high side. Which is the 280, but since AW doesn't have that configuration think i'll go along with sager. Din realise that AW is so heavy...I travel a lot that will be a back breaker. All I care is the power! power for gaming!

Yeah....looks cant deny that AW is awesome. fancy mancy. And good easy warranty too.

And I have not tried a 17" yet...might try it too. But add weight and the bulk.

Mind sharing us the fan noise.

hmm. hello everyone. i am looking to purchase a laptop for gaming purposes. i am not a gamer but want to start playing games like crysis and gta4. i had my mind set on the new dell studio xps 16 for rm3999 but now i realised that lotsa ppl are habing issues with this model. so i decided its not worth investing in a dell. so i pushed my budget to 4.5k in order to game and get a good laptop. i have read many pages from this thread and am somewhat convinced that sager is a good laptop for me eventhough i had not heard abt it before. i also see that we have mucro asia as a distributor. I was wondering if they will be involved in the coming PC fair in KL. unfortunately the sager laptops are still too pricey for me. am looking at the NP8662. i look forward to some help and recommendations from fellow sager owners in helping me decide while mantaining my budget. thanks a lot.

Thats really dissapointing to hear. With 4.5k there is really limited choice actually. According to the mucro asia site the NP8662 is now below RM5k. Yet you suggest a budget of 6K, may i ask why?

I use different webcam software and its much clearer than the BisonCam

What game are u trying to play anyway? By copied as in copy and paste the whole game into your com? Then, if like that u definitely gonna faces problems when running the games. So far I have tested UT3, Far Cry 2, Fallout 3, Dead Space, RE5, Anno 1404 and Dragon Age Origin (Yes, they all are pirated games. I am a pirate and will take any critic thrown at me  ) and install it by DVD. Don't faces much problem

Clear for np8690 but the webcam for np8662 is not clear. You have to be in very bright room to get a clearer video. Not that I complaint it very much, just saying it
