Yes I end up paying twice since they cut the $30 of my payment. Luckily I manage to convince my bank to just TT $30 for me, JFYI I'm using HSBC.
Sorry for not mentioning earlier, I thought its just me making some silly mistakes. @Enigmare Its sort of like "service charge". |

There's nothing I can do ATM but make the second payment. They were holding my $2k machine because of $30
Never though of complaining though ATM since I did it in the same day and they too checked and received it in the same day Anyway it would be good if you could mention it to them. |

I'm starting to think we should change this thread into a Sager thread instead
I remember Ashikune talked about his machine being shipped a week ago or so. |

QUOTE(galvatron @ Jan 19 2009, 07:25 PM) how your opinion if i'm buy 2 sager laptop and share shipping cost us232? Hm? I don't think its possible as they (the machines) will be packed into two different boxes with plenty of protections each. IMO its not a smart move, you don't want to lose all the protections to the machine just to save up some cash don't you?Added on January 19, 2009, 7:26 pmjust kongsi2 with my brother.can reduce shipping cost? |

Be sure to post some pictures of open box once they arrive. I'm really interested to see if they squeeze two machines into one box sacrificing all the protection or use a bigger box.
As you can see from corad's picture which is also my case. ![]() |

JFYI, original link here.
The Clevo M860TU/ Sager NP8660 quad core support is now OFFICIAL. Link Intel® Core™ 2 Quad processor Q9000 (2.26GHz, 45nm, FSB1066, 12MB L2 cache, 478uFC-PGA, Socket P) And according to Goph from NotebookReview, he got to know from Sager representative, there will be a a new motherboard/ thermal revision M860TU/ NP8660 similar to the recently M570TU > ETU/ NP5796 > NP5797. He also believes that since Q9000 and Q9100 has the same TDP of 45w, the Q9100 should also be supported provided if the bios has it supported. 15.4" Notebook with quad core? Beat that. I'm thinking of rolling out a buyer's guide but i think this has to wait. Anyway, price has come down a lot since my last purchase. Now you could get similar specification with mine but with the P9600 YET still lower price than mine by a little and also T9800 is now available from Xotic PC for those who prefer better performance. [EDIT] 2nd link fixed. This post has been edited by N1-C: Jan 23 2009, 04:15 PM |

I'll actually suggest you to look else where if you're planning to buy the NP2096. The specification doesn't worth the hassle to go through especially the warranty part, check out locally available brand and I'm sure there's some notebook that could easily rival the NP2096.

Good job with the QX9300! Sure will come in handy if future games utilize more than 2 cores, hopefully soon.

QUOTE(Cheesenium @ Feb 1 2009, 06:35 PM) Thanks, man. Funny enough, the mobile 9800 series GTS perform 5~10% sower than an mobile 9800 series GT.They even have a reseller near my place in NSW.Just 10-15 minutes bus ride from my home. The only problem is the base specs is bad. Why did the Aus one give out crap specs one? 1GB RAM and a 1.73 C2D.It's a joke,IMO.The CPU will be a bottleneck for the ultra fast GC. How much bette is 9800GTS,compare to 9800GT? You can get more detailed comparison here under "The Performance". This post has been edited by N1-C: Feb 1 2009, 07:16 PM |

Buy from Xotic PC or Eurocom and forget about the warranty. There's a good chance of your local retailer willing to help you to fix your machine if there's a problem at a price. Contact them and see what they say.
"Hello, I'm so not buying from you guys but could you fix my machine if it screwed up?" JFF... |
