indeed. For player shirt it has to be light and comfortale. Even the three stripes of PI kits most are the plastic instead of stitched. Replica are meant to be kept and last lnger, so Giotto is right in that stitching is in fact more durable.

i got one question, why did adidas glued the seams on player issue jersey, while the replica they stitched it? is the glue more durable that the stitches?
thanx in advance
*
Glued seams:
Pros - Lighter and less irritable
Cons - Shorter lifespan

Stitched seams:
Pros - Longer lifespan, easy to repair if torn
Cons - Not as light and comfortableas glued seams.

How long do you wear your jerseys? How long does a player wear their jersey on the pitch and the whole life of it..

but the player wear the jersey in very 'ganas' situation... if glued seams not durable there will be millions of player ripping their jersey during a match.
i think glued seams is durable but not long lasting.

I've never said the glued seams are not durable..

I've said, shorter lifespan.

You've already answered your question...

If its indeed genuine kits, i'd say the price is reasonable. I think hardcore Man Utd fans are willing to kill for that 1999 treble winning jersey.

On top of that, the Arsenal JVC kit is also a very rare.

believe they have a few shirts on standby for such 'ganas' reasons instead of one shirt per game.

Hi jerseyman,

would you help me to check whether the above is genuine kit or not.

Appreciate your reply fast as I'm pending more inner tags pics from this seller.

Thanks.

Hi.

Be patient ya.. I just drove and came back all away from Penang..

For all the 4 kits.. You don't have to see the inner tags, from my naked eyes I can tell it's 100% authentic for all the 4 kits.

Anyway, for extra knowledge for LYN members.. want to share some info on the Treble kit.

There are 2 batch of production for the Man United Treble kit (with zip on collars). First batch was in 1998 and second was in 1999.

The Treble Home kit sold in the LYn sales thread is the first batch version. First batch version has a full foam printed umbro logo (on top) while the second batch has umbro logo with half-full embossed (on bottom) :

See how the letters B and R look different in terms of foam solidness

..and the first batch has 'TM' stitched below the MUFC crest (on bottom), instead of the R logo on second batch (on top):

Finally the first batch was made in UK, second batch was made in China (umbro starting to outsource kit manufacturing in China beginning in 1999).

YKK? Then it's fake.

So far, the zip must have 'UMBRO' written on it.
