re dogdog13, as pointed out by pyro, lextra refers to the NNs, not the jersey
if u r looking to buy lextra NNs, ALI and R1 and also Qline do sell them, but better call them up before going, cos their stocks runs out fast. so u don have to go there and be dissapointed in not getting your alphabets / numbers. |

Faiz's guide is super on patches is super useful for MU supporters.
For liverpool fans, u need not go further than to Michael Yip's site at www.liverpoolkits.com as reference. This is my idol |

yup Michael Yip is one of the respected collectors in the JC world. His main collections are matchworn / player issued kits , but his replica kits are also complete. A very useful guide on the appropriate patches / badgers / NNs to be applied on which kit etc.
gerrardinho, u can start ur own as well hehe can start sourcing the earlier reebok kits on ebay. I completed mine that way as well. Thereafter slowly source for the NNs and patches for each kit. This will be painstakingly long but fun i tell u. Im still looking till this day haha. |

u don have much choice bro, though ALI and R1 do bring in big sizes (XXL - not sure bout XXXL) but its normally in very limited quantity ie perhaps 3-4 pieces, and that also mostly for the big clubs etc. So you would need to grab them early and usually no discount....
uve been buying from Ebay or from online retail stores? There are some sellers in Ebay who have good deals on XXL shirts, just have to check them out constantly |

NNs for England which season bro?
in any event, i don think there are any left in KL, perhaps those 1 or 2 odd sets for the current season kit. again, best bet is online at ebay, or homeofbadges or wiggysports. |

giotto,
yup they started recently, and i think it is only fair. Makes us feel better too in a way and not feel guilty bout "using them" to do the NNs. |

Haha I wanted to join the last few Mondays but its always full, and the Saturday ones poor response also
I agree with your views on us supporting them and they reciprocrating it by providing added services for free, but then again sadly alot of people nowadays really just go there to apply NNs without buying any other things from them. I have seen with my own eyes a growing number of such occasions everytime i go to ALI / R1. Problem is, cant really blame either, as the NNs some JC look for are not availlable at all locally so they have to get it elsewhere. Then the only place to have it done up on the kit is R1 / ALI BB/ Q Line who have press heat machines - essential especially for PU NNs (not all are like our taikos who can DIY them confidently haha). And also the customers may not want to buy something from the shops when they apply the NNs as there truly may not be anything that they need or want. So by charging a reasonable fee, it would seem fair to me in that they are providing a service that requires special machinery and specific skills and expertise. Added on October 23, 2008, 10:47 amI think they are not charging the fee if the NNs are bought and applied at their shops, maybe someone can confirm this? indeed. For player shirt it has to be light and comfortale. Even the three stripes of PI kits most are the plastic instead of stitched. Replica are meant to be kept and last lnger, so Giotto is right in that stitching is in fact more durable.

further to AW13's suggestion to request seller to lower invoice value, bear that this will in turn decrease the value insured (if you getting insured mail etc) to the amount declared only.. so weigh the factors before deciding.... there is no hard and fast rule on this...cos sometimes it may be prudent especially for super expeinsive kits to provide actual amount so as to be covered in case of lost post etc...
re Koro, there is no other wat la ..u either get someone with credit card to help ...no other way.... |

re Gerrardinho, plokoon is right. Make sure u dont get the Milan 5 BOH which has a different shade of blue to Liverpool's BOH. Its becos Liverpool's BOH is of a different shade as the normal BOH shade is similar to Everton's colours and u don need me to tell u why it cannot be on our kits
Its virtually impossible to get the Liverpool BOH....a few online ebayers have them at crazy prizes...even then stock is limited too...so be careful not to get the wrong one... i do not thinik Singapore has any stock from what i hear from my contacts there.... |

re Gerrardinho, you were referring to this at Weston's site? http://weston.com.sg/mercantor_browse.acv?class=Others
maybe you can check with them again on availability, cos i remember my friend in Singapore confirmed that it was sold out even at Weston. Would be great if they still have it as most of us are dying to get our hands on it (without paying crazy money la haha). Good luck and thanks |

delivery cahrges are an important thing to note when purchasing online. Most of the time kit price may be low but if postage is high, then may not be worthwhile too.
And yah, some online stores have very very high postage charges, so be careful |

re oddieseven, yah Shah can be tasked with the more straight forward names
and R1 ie "the shop below them" charges RM10 per kit but both shops wont charge extra if u buy the nameset / NNs from them |

re James2306, if you want the SS and not the LS u may want to get the Jerseyman's one see here
http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...uthentic+jersey guarantee to be in superb condition. re Deadman_Inc, you can try the Nike boutiques, most would have. I think ALI BB only brought in sizes M - XL, not sure if they have taken in more. |
