Yo Steven,
Hows it going man. Long time no join us for futsal? Honestly if you ask me, i'm not in favour of them charging per jersey. I always believe that we consumers or so called collectors must practice moderation. I mean we're given certain priviledge by others, and in this case, don't la everyday go there and ask them apply NN's. We should also support them by buying jerseys from there, not just from websites just coz its cheaper slightly. |

QUOTE(slyyoung @ Oct 23 2008, 10:44 AM) I tend to disagree a lil bit here. If I can get a similar kit that is cheaper elsewhere, why would I get it from a shop that sells it way more expensive? Case in point, a Man Utd kit that you can get online for less than RM 200 plus shipping, or a standard RM259 at some local shop. That's a no brainer right. We as consumers must make a wise choice. Money don't grow on trees. Yes, Khai. I wont disagree with you on that coz i myself do that on newer jerseys like Arsenal, Real Madrid and others. If you can save RM50, which is quite an amount, imagine if you buy 10 or so jerseys per year. But I agree with the moderation part though. Imagine you get some power haulers who bring in 5 kits at one go to apply for each NNs, susah la like that. I think what ALI or R1 can do is to be more flexible on prices, or even do some promotion like free printing or something like that cause from what I see, the demand for jerseys in Malaysia is there but they need to take advantage of it. But at the same time, there's many other knock down priced jerseys in ALI. I buy them all the time, i mean if i want it la, not because i buy for the sake of supporting them. I get futsal shoes from them, i buy socks from them and the LYN jersey was gotten from them as well, although we very much had a choice of shopping in Pertama Complex to scout for something much cheaper. In fact the LFC guys are looking at group jersey in which i told them to go to ALI BB simple because their service so far has been spot on, they have the stocks and obviously for the support they've given us JCers all this while. |

aw13,
Just a quick one, do you remember if the Arsenal UCL NN's are for homekit or away kit? For Arsenal, homekit would be white while away kit would be red. If forgotten, its ok. I can call them to check. |

QUOTE(aw13 @ Oct 23 2008, 02:45 PM) Edited mate, pls refer my original post. Also, the new UCL starball patch is not in yet, not sure if they will be in though. Applies for both Champions and Normal. Thanks for the info dude!And...all namesets are PU. Anyways, i always thought the new batch of UCL NN's would be lextra type material, just like the EPL ones. A lil bit dissapointed coz i'm a huge fan of Lextra NN's. Was damn happy when Arsenal used the Lextra ones on their UCL kits. |

QUOTE(mancy @ Oct 25 2008, 09:04 PM) Glue is definitely not as durable as stitching. Players jerseys more than often don't last more than one game. Each matchday they get new jerseys, so the question of durability is definitely not an issue for them.I think plokoon has a very valid point that stitching reduces the chance of getting skin irritation and knowing Adidas, they have to take such things into consideration. |

If its indeed genuine kits, i'd say the price is reasonable. I think hardcore Man Utd fans are willing to kill for that 1999 treble winning jersey.
On top of that, the Arsenal JVC kit is also a very rare. |

QUOTE(schmeichel7 @ Oct 29 2008, 09:50 PM) No problem mate.. Good advice mate! I was tempted to just tell him to buy a new jersey. Haha. The key here is the usage of iron to help bond it.. Heat makes the glue bond better, trust me. I did it before. But be careful because the iron can melt the white stripe and the sizing info (because it's made out of polyuthrene or PU). Anyways, the few jerseys that i have also have problem with sponsors front logo coming off. Problem is, it kinda cracks and it comes out bit by bit from many corners of the sponsor wording. The one above here is pretty straight forward, the whole piece comes off, so its easy to apply glue to re-bond it back. 1 of such problematic jersey has already been written off from my collection. Already become my futsal game jersey. |

QUOTE(redscorpion @ Nov 13 2008, 06:10 AM) Be abit careful on currency exchange rates. There's always bank buying rates and bank selling rates. The one you quoted above is abit on optimistic side. I'd say go around 5.4 to 5.5 which is a safe value. Anything lesser, its to your gain. |

Damn...those Carlsberg sponsor on the jersey look so crude.
Anyways, one of my friend use to own one of those jerseys. He wore it day and night, to tuition classes, for curriculum activities, for football games, to watch movie and possibly to sleep. Wonder if he still has them or not. |

QUOTE(schmeichel7 @ Nov 22 2008, 08:45 PM) Thanks mate for the reminder. Was planning to do so but then I got busy.. Bro,What to do.. In dire need of cash. Currently having some financial problems.. You'll be ok man, don't worry. Just be prudent during these hard times. I myself also being very prudent this few months since i change job, i nearly couldn't adapt to my suddenth reduction in income and i had to change my lifestyle abit. That means less boozing, less fancy dinners, less clothes shopping and dump a few girl friends and now i'm surviving. So far no new kits for me. I'm slightly glad that one of my kitbag orders got stuck and kitbag is in the process of refunding them. So far i havent got to the stage of selling my jerseys but my only problem now is some of the jerseys i've not worn but i don't want to keep them anymore. Dunno why i even bought them back then. Panic purchase i guess. All the best in your sales dude! See you this Tuesday for our launching of MyFJC jersey. I can't wait to put them on. |

popsoul,
Steven is right in saying ALI BB has that 3 namesets. However, the last we check these 3 were available was back in October, so there's a chance they will run out of stock. Best is to call them up before going to buy. You can refer to their contact numbers in the first page, look out for Al Ikhsan Bukit Bintang. |

QUOTE(schmeichel7 @ Dec 9 2008, 03:16 PM) Anyway if you want to.... as said, maybe you can try using nail polish remover or any form of acid.. Good luck! I have an Arsenal jersey thats been peeling since i bought it. Thats the first batch jersey which apparently has problems. Anyways, i experimented with different chemicals in trying to remove the FLY EMIRATES sponsor. I've tried using nail polish remover(acetone), thinner and some spirit and all 3 efforts are a failure. I ended up peeling them off by hand. That left an ugly white glue mark behind. Anyways, i only wear them for futsal, so its okla. |

I think the Beckham 75 is also an authentic jersey, just that they speculated he would wear 75, just like Ronaldinho 80.
Before Euro 08 begun, there were NN's for C Ronaldo 17 and Cesc 18. When the official numbering came out, turns out Ronaldo 7 and Cesc 10. |

Schmikes,
Just out of curiosity, when you feel the material for both the genuine kit and the above mention Thailand kit, is there much difference? |
