Diamond DFS speaker is not that cheap, if you have enough space, I suggest you pick bookshelf type.
It sounds better than DFS at same cost, or lower.

IMO, looks (DFS) matter. brows.gif

I still think diamond 9.1 is better than 10.1...its just my own preferences...unfortunately sold my 9.1 to make way for another set of speaker. but if i encounter any cheap diamond 9.1 i surely will buy it again to make a stereo setup.

hehe, i got luck this week. able to get a pair of tip-top condition 9.1 back! tongue.gif

finally i'm able to compare the sound side by side, for music i like the 9.1, for movie 10.1 a tad better.

conclusion: i like 9.1 more. 10.1 will be better if room treatment is done (mostly bass problem).

Just a quick one., I haven't checked the price yet but how much would these set me back.......:

Diamond 10.7 x 2 $???
Diamond CS. $???

That's all for now as I slowly build up my system. biggrin.gif

It would be paired with a Pioneer LX57.......

Got myself a pair of Diamond 155 floorstanders & Vardus VR-C2 center couple of weeks back~

It's used to replace my trusty JBL SCS180.5 satelite speakers & I must say the difference is clearly noticable thumbup.gif

i never have a chance to have audition on kef speakers. hope it brings the sound you like.

i agree that subwoofer is the most poisonous equipment to play with, upgrades never end biggrin.gif

Sorry for the bump. I auditioned the 10.2 with Marantz 5007 at Desa and i really liked it. Was quoted 1,100 and 2,299 for speakers and amp.

I did not try the 122 and was curious wat would be the price ? Anyone can share on the difference in terms of sound?

That day saw 10.7, it is smaller than I expected... About size of KEF Q700 or smaller... something like that. I think Q900 will looks better at home.

Btw, I am planning to let go my 10.2 because been upgraded to MA RX2 for sometime... Its been idling... Condition easily 8.5 /10 as only use for one year plus before I upgraded into RX2 last year.
