guys, wan to ask wat is the price of diamond 9.1 in malaysia ?

I got mine around rm8xx, nice speaker, i use it for my surround speaker.

i am using Diamond 8 (except Sub and Surround)...i did do a comparison between Diamond 8 and 9 when i do my selection lasttime...found that i like Diamond 8 (which was still in product after over 20 years)...

Reason being the sound is brighter ( i like bright sound ), found Diamond 9 sound is warmer (to be its not 'clear')...just my 2 cents.

A lot of spkr manufacturers have shifted its production facilities to China. B&W top range is only produced in UK.

used to own diamond 9.1 for about $150.

but since i'm having an affair w/ qef IQ7, i sell it.

now i miss my diamond so much

I use the D9.1 as my back surround, very nice. I almost use all D9 series as my 7.1 SS, except the sub (Klipsch RW-12D) and surround (Chario Silverette 100).
I use D9.6 as my Front speaker and D9.CM as my center.

i thanked them for cheap production cost, otherwise we have to pay import duty, etc.

i have KEF IQ7 China, compare w/ those made from UK, nothing special.

some hi-fi / av made in Malaysia .. Onkyo..Yamaha ( Chemor Perak )..Mission also in Kedah..Exposure also Malaysia made ..Exposure bought by Malaysian company some more...Epos, Creek .. are made in China

wanna share here...

using diamond 9.5....bought new....

about a month, 1 of the bottom woofer hav crack sound...
sent to CMS, replaced new, no warranty one, charged me at RM175.00

recently, watch only 1 movie after replaced the woofer, same replaced woofer crack sound again....sigh....

i need sifus-sifus here advice, i am using ONKYO-606....whats wrong ahhh . ..

same woofer spoiled twice, called up CMS, they said no warranty one, have to replace new again at same price...RM175.00

is it possible for you to test before buying a pair?

When I bought my diamond 9.1 back home , I found the woofer also have crack sound, I took it next day and desa kepong change a new pair for me. (gd service, no ask long ask short )

But yours already 1 month, difficult leh...
