thx ccube for the Saucony shoes i got from u last time.
like it and no more pain on knees. old shoes cushioning is probably dead.

registered for SCKLM 10km run.. do we collect the goodies before the run on race day or before race day?

biggrin.gif I manage to run 21KM today.

Just got up and ate my 3rd meal. I guess the run really spiked up my metabolism HAHA

Ya i took 2 power gels though. 1 around 8KM mark and 1 more around 14KM.

Tak kisah la. testing nia.

Must remind myself to bring heatrub along. Cramps are a b**** when you still have stamina but your legs give up on you first.

Guys

Need some advise.

I've been hydrating properly before runs, taken some bananas and all but cramps are happening all the time on my calves.

Any ideas? Am I lacking any nutrition? Or am I just lack of training(running?)??

My diet? As you can see from my journal. I take my multi vitamins everyday, 2 fish oil caps and occasional Glucosamine.

I eat more fruits nowadays, apples and banana.

Any ideas? Anyone experience same problem?

Cramps are happening ONLY on Calves. My quads and hamstrings are fine.

I think I'll try to switch my running style to utilize more quad muscle perhaps.

Syd also advised me on some salt thingy. Anyway, I plan to train my calves alittle this week.

Thanks Choi

Guys, would like to ask a question.

I've just started running seriously about 2 months ago. Recently I've been experiencing pain on my right knee after a session(~5km). It only hurts the day after, I can't bend my knees or go up the stairs without experiencing pain.

It only happens on my right knee, and it goes away after a few days. Is this normal? Could it be that I'm running technique is wrong?

Appreciate your comments and feedbacks. Thanks.

Which part of the knee?

http://orthopedics.about.com/cs/kneeinjuries/a/kneepain.htm

Its either you are using the wrong shoe or your running technique

Added on June 15, 2009, 3:09 pmwhat shoe are you using by the way?
