i thought with 45nm fab, stock vid should be lower.. if need 1.6v to get 4ghz, still not good enough

This is C1 lah. C2 will be better, hopefully.
I'm seeing casual 3.6 OCs, 2.8-4 with overvolts. Even more if you go suicide. Stock volt should be 1.2+ V. There's some variation between the chips. BTW QUOTE CPU-Z must be showing the wrong voltage because in the link in the last page shows a pic of cpu-z with the CPU at stock speeds with the same voltage reading of 1.6V. Did you see this ACC menu in BIOS in your previous TA790GX? I couldn't find in my BIOS  Currently using latest official bios dd 19 Sep 2008. |

guys,
i just bought msi k9a2 cf how to setting this mobo aa,so different with abit i just manage to oc to 2.95Ghz,higher than that pc wont boot up abit ax78 can go untill 3.3Ghz but syg,mobo sent to rma i had tried lower the HTlink,cpu voltage still using the default and ram divider i set to 667Mhz can someone who use this mobo help me...
