Previously i also busy at comparing among HTIB, but finally think for Home Theater component (below RM2000) as it can be upgraded

only now wish to know if there are better home theater component set plus DVD which can beat the quality for combination of SONY HT-SF 2300 and PIONEER DV610.

i planning to get myself SONY HT-SF2300 and 708H HDMI Player.Pairing both with my PS3 ,it would be almost perfect for me.

Is the Panasonic HTIB with wireless surround speakers & Kelton subwoofer any good? Saw it selling around RM2399 at Jusco.

Only i have seen some comment about the unstableness of wireless. It's in fact a good price. Previous i saw at RM 2599, however, again, the problem is still with the bundleness of the whole set, which you will find impossible to upgrade...

There are few good one though in comparison with this model, but lower price...

May I know why u ppl buy HTIB with another HDMI dvd player. Does external DVDP better than the internal HTIB player ?? Or b'coz of upscaling purposes.

the 2300 by sony doesnt comes with a dvd player, hence the need of buying another player

Yah, it is built for Blu Ray player, meant to stay together..so it can be considered as future proof, with player upgrade availability should you be changing to Blu ray player in times to come..so i can say, it's value for its money.

Only am now try to see if there is any set within this price range can beat it on the price and also features wise...

Not really for all BD player. Only players with all HD audio decoded onboard like the PS3, Panasonic DMP-BD50/55 and Sony BDP-S550 and few others can be coupled with the STF-2300.

Players like Panasonic DMP-BD30 and Sony BDP-S350 you won't get to hear DTS-HD MA with it.

Try LG entry series. I must say for that amount of money pay,the sound quality can be considered value for money

I saw JVC TH-G30 quite impressive. Got HDMI/FM tuner, built amp and player for only RM1,099. I have test the sound performance really clear than Pioneer.
