my body grew bigger as i age. my hand grew bigger too. haha due to bodybuilding. =.= was 60+kg when i played b4. now? haha close to 90kg.
i guess, 28 tension is high but playable. to me it lack of power, but my opponent says otherwise. maybe will try it out again today.

hmm, for me, im now on bg66 25 tension, clears are moderate, need to play 1 more game to find out more , so far net play, smashes, are fine.

another thing is, does your own smashes look and feel slower to you ??

because my smashes, i find it very very very slow, but others dont seem to be able to catch it

********

on a side note, the Apacs nano 900, copy of Armotec 700P , is it worth buying??

Hmm could it be that ur reaction speed is so fast that u c everything is slow motion tongue.gif. Haha. I recently switched to apacs n i feel they are really good. U might wanna check out the racket specs of the nano n compare it with ur current to c if suits u. Without testing out the racket feel, technical comparison is ur next best bet.

im using an edgesaber Z slayer, yeahh , i hope its my reaction that is fast, haha. im an above average sprinter, and an above average long distance runner, but not the best in either of them , placed 16 but estimating around top 10 (got mess up and cheaters in list) in merentas desa, top 5 all MSSD and 2 MSSS cry.gif

but does anyone have any info or review about the nano 900 compared to its yonex counter part armotec 700P?

hmmm i feel my shots are more precise, but my smashes, got sound, but not much power i think. somethings wat u see is different compared to wat the opponent feel. haha...
apacs rackets are awesome. especially tantrum 200.
but it is not a user friendly racket. it took me quite some time to get use to it.

i have a nano900p red. it's clone of YY's AT900P.
i think it's obsolete now, replaced by nano990p.
basically the red and white doesn't really have distinctive difference.

i feel it's a very good mid stiff racket, although it's a clone.
it has a slightly heavy head balance and it's light (4u)
strung it with Zy67@28lbs by Arc
i have not played with the ES-Z but if it really copies the ARCZ profile..
- nano900p will be more user friendly due to slightly bigger frame (= bigger sweetspot)
- ESZ will be faster due to the slim frame profile which to YY, produces the same effect as Victor BS: less air resistance, increased swing speed
those points above are true IF and ONLY IF apacs really copies the ARCZ completely

well im not in a rush for the nano900p, if you're thinking of selling do look for me then , that is IF and ONLY IF you wanna sell laugh.gif

for the EdgesaberZ , i do feel it swings faster as i tend to miss the shuttles or hit the top of the frame more often when i first got it , even though its slightly longer than most racquets around, so yes it does swing faster, how fast is it compared to its yonex counterpart is not known though.
its more of an even balanced that has all qualities but major in none racquet , im currently looking for 1 with noticeably more power, and with fast reactions such as the nano900p

*****
on a side note, theres saying that

faster swing = stronger smash
heavier head = stronger smash

so.. u guys judge yourself, which do you prefer, i personally think both will still have power with these characteristics , depending on your strings

faster swing doesn't mean a guarantee stronger smash.
If using the wrist work well, faster swing helps in generate more power.
IMHO, faster swing racket can be good in high-speed game.
The timing to jump & intercept the shuttlecock will be faster and might be able to caught your opponent in surprise.

Fast-swing racket might be work very well to those who like to play block & interception especially front core court.
For Back core court player, fast swing racket work well, when playing hi-speed attacking system cos the jump timing to hit the shuttle either a return drive or smash is much more faster.

For head heavy racket, front core player will be having a little bit difficult but will be great advantage for back core court player especially heavy smasher. The only thing is it might be a bit slow in timing. Therefore, back-core player will need to move to comfortable position a little faster before attack.

Overall, if you have proper skill, whether is a head heavy, balance heavy, balance light, or fast swing racket, it still can generate good & strong smash.
Of cos, if you have good skill + suitable weapon, it might be more powerful! thumbup.gif icon_rolleyes.gif rclxm9.gif icon_idea.gif
