QUOTE(ziggy87 @ Sep 6 2010, 04:09 PM) well.. i recently got myself an apacs edgesaber Z slayer from siaojolene , very good seller btw, strung with yonex bg85 at 27 tension**************************** heres the thing, i have always had troubles playing net shots, they are either too high , or when i try to soften the "touch /push" , it doesn't go over ! any ways to practice this?? *this also occurs when someone does soft serves* secondly ,when someone smashes, i see the shuttle clearly, and i always put my racquet below or beside the shutter as it moves and i move along when i try to hit it *as in the shuttle is always just beside the racquet when i try to counter the smash, and i fail to touch it* the not that i always miss, but just most of the time, sometimes i even hit the frame, any ways to practice this also?? im sure im fast enough, just lack in dexterity This post has been edited by melvin93: Sep 6 2010, 04:18 PM |

QUOTE(dcking @ Sep 7 2010, 01:59 AM) Maybe ur touch & feeling is not good enough, or even u hold ur racket too tight... hmm... i USED to hold it tight, now i made it much softer, could be too soft instead, ok bro, ill juggle the shuttle around, haha.u can try juggling the shuttle gently & try not to hold racket tight.. hope this is what u need ******************** RM500 could be worth it tho,but even for intermediate players we're only buying apacs or racquets that price This post has been edited by melvin93: Sep 7 2010, 09:37 AM |

QUOTE(ziggy87 @ Sep 7 2010, 10:10 AM) actually sometimes it depends on the buyer itself. some intermediate players might have the spending power and willing to spend RM500 for a racket. well... ill get a RM200 racquet, and hire a personal coach with the rest of the cash from this forum ! what racket would u guys get if u have RM500 to spare? i'll get a BS10/SW35/AT900P |

QUOTE(netboy @ Sep 9 2010, 01:46 AM) Hello, well, i used to ask this, until i got a yonex bg85,or u can sub it for zymax 62 I wanna get a new racquet, budget is RM200, maybe close one eye a bit more =P I'm still sort of learning, been playing on and off for few years but smashes and backhand are weak. I like to play netting and drop shots. Any recommendations for racquet and strings? Thanks =) then an apacs racquet for all around = nanospeed 9900 not many will say this, but i like the edgesaber Z slayer ,its very balanced but leaning SLIGHTLY more towards smashing |

QUOTE(ziggy87 @ Sep 9 2010, 05:05 PM) wont very hard to balance..it's thick but not soft until when u stand on it, it will lump in. yup my bad, sorry, its nanoPOWER 9900 , im not sure how it feels compared to yonex, but to me its still good for RM90, very balanced.when u land after u jump, can feel the softness even when the shuttle lands, it wont bounce as high as other hard floors very good shock absorption |
