Hahaha..ok..tis racquet really goods for double player,i use bg 80 wit 29 pounds, very syok..haha..head quite heavy..

High tension offensive player, the BG80 can last your for how many sessions playing?

QUOTE(alan kc @ Aug 30 2010, 10:43 PM)
Tis racket is made in taiwan..handle quite big, mayb cant handle for high tension..bt it for me quite good..nt so heavy.
*
Since it is not Yonex high-end racket, so cannot request too much on the max tension it can support, 24-26lbs should be enough for most of the intermediate player. . .

i'm comparing the flex scale on BS10s that i found on the internet.
BS10's flex is near the mid point while ATT99 is nearer to the "Stiff" point
it definitely can handle that tension
*
actually ATT99 shouldn't be compare with BS10 or SW35, right? since ATT99 is mid-range and the BS10/SW35 is consider as high-end for Victor racket. . . biggrin.gif

BTW what is the mean difference between Artery/SW/BS series? is it like Yonex >> Artery=MusclePower, SW=Armortec, BS=ArcSaber??

anyone got comments with Victor SW320?? price around the same as ATT99/ATT98 or Yonex ArcSaber 008T. . .

The grommet definitely can change one....I changed few times oledi...usually the shop will change for you when u restring your racket. Some shop more cincai, consider part of stringing service charges (fyi, I know this shop, he is dealer for the string, he said string margin is more than 100%, why so expensive is because the skill and market rate, but unfortunately he bit moody one, open as he like, string when he like, so I dont go there anymore coz either go there he not open or he is not around/ leaving soon for his badminton session, always got to leave racket there for few days, only can collect back). Another shop, they charge me RM3.

if im not mistaken, ATT99 is already around for quite some time?
maybe it used to be high-end tongue.gif

to differentiate them i guess u can say like that
i notice the ATT/SW/BS series, all their bp also almost the same hahaha
all also head heavy

while difference between armortecs and arcsabers are of bigger margin

oh ya alan kc, what's the bp of your 'hammer'? with and without string and grip?

Guys,

While we are discussing, why not we come up with a compilation on what we all think on would be the best rackets + String + tension for the following purposes:

1.> Best Smash =
2.> Best Control =
3.> Best Offense =
4.> Best Defense =
5.> Best All Rounder =

Example : Best Smash = Arcsaber Z Slash + BG 80 + 24lbs.

Would be great for new comers & experience people to look at and think about.

I noticed that usually, the high-end racket, those more expensive one, usually suits those more advance players, as they tend to be harder to hit, harder to control, but, once you manage to master it, or you got some basics stroke, it will suits you well.

For those cheaper range rackets, it more forgiving for beginner. But, the disadvantages, for some advance players, they might tend to say "lack of power" in their games.

Any comments from sifus?

string and tension is very subjective.
some will say BG66/80 is the best! but i might say NO, it's Zymax 67 or VS-850.
no point dude.

rackets on the other hand is a slightly different matter tongue.gif

for me:

1.> Best Smash = Victor SW35/ Yonex AT900P
2.> Best Control = Yonex NS9900?
3.> Best Offense = no comment
4.> Best Defense = headlight rackets
5.> Best All Rounder = Yonex AS series since they're well balanced rackets

yea i know, it's like not answering the questions laugh.gif blush.gif
i have low experience with rackets unsure.gif

I see... erm ok.. I will test out before buying. yeah.. bg 80 is for powerplay... I perfer Nanogy cause I more of a control freak & like to see people run hahahahha...

Yup, 25lbs sure can take.. but I really wonder what is the max you can string... normally shop will always say from the max recommended on the racket you can + 2lbs... but then they wont warranty if break... haih...

Besides the above, my old racket has this plastic edges that holds the string and racket (Grommet?)... well, some of them koyak dy... do you think we can get it changed or replaced? or need to buy new racket?
*
Haha..u can try for bg85..that also for control player.Last time my armotec 250 go until 30lbs..haha.

oic..kk's website say it's 290 which is even less than my ATT99
i always felt it's impossible but never had a real SW35 to measure

like i said, ATT99 is an old model.
all the wave and sword design are for new models..

victor claims that the wave will generate faster swing..really?

yonex racket can't handle high tension??? blink.gif

i'm not sure how stiff is AT700 but the head heaviness should be similar to SW35.
spira21 is less stiff than SW35

Nope.. don't think that's covered. Do you want a picture of my racket? Full of scratches but I don't give a crap because it gives me what I want : Smashing with 29lbs string tension laugh.gif laugh.gif

Eh.. I prefer headlight rackets for everything.. but that's me, because I feel some wrist pain after smashing alot with heavy head rackets.
How come nobody here uses Fischer rackets? Good austrian brand rclxms.gif
