Dear Sifus,
I am an amateur at badminton. Currently I am using the following 2 rackets below & planning to get another 1.
1.> RSL Millennium Heat 8160 - Tension 25 2.> Impact Diamond X5 - Tension 27
Mainly I will use my RSL for Offensive game & Impact for Defensive. I'm looking for a mid racket which can be used for both Offensive & Defensive. Any suggestions?
My current rated stats, my personal opinion. (1-very bad - 10-Very Good)
Smashing - 5 Backhand - 3 Drops - 7 Serves - 7 Baseline Return - 4
p/s: I am currently eyeing the APACS Raptor MK 1 however the seller has no more stocks... Budget around RM 300 (irregardless new or second hand)
Any advise/suggestions is highly appreciated.

QUOTE(alan kc @ Aug 30 2010, 11:04 PM) Yup...some time d measurement g5,g4 nt 100% correct..u hav to take it and feel it..i dun knw wat racquet suitable for u,coz if u like power play,u can go for stiff racquet..if string,u can try bg80...for me i like 29 to 30 lbs,coz when smash wil b more powerful. QUOTE(ziggy87 @ Aug 30 2010, 11:19 PM) it definitely can handle that tension I see... erm ok.. I will test out before buying. yeah.. bg 80 is for powerplay... I perfer Nanogy cause I more of a control freak & like to see people run hahahahha... Yup, 25lbs sure can take.. but I really wonder what is the max you can string... normally shop will always say from the max recommended on the racket you can + 2lbs... but then they wont warranty if break... haih... Besides the above, my old racket has this plastic edges that holds the string and racket (Grommet?)... well, some of them koyak dy... do you think we can get it changed or replaced? or need to buy new racket?

Guys,
While we are discussing, why not we come up with a compilation on what we all think on would be the best rackets + String + tension for the following purposes:
1.> Best Smash = 2.> Best Control = 3.> Best Offense = 4.> Best Defense = 5.> Best All Rounder =
Example : Best Smash = Arcsaber Z Slash + BG 80 + 24lbs.
Would be great for new comers & experience people to look at and think about.
