hi guys, can help me with OC my e8400 C0 stepping to 4.0Ghz or perhaps to 4.5ghz
when i oc my e8400 to 4.0ghz i got a blue screen after log in to windows...>.< now i can only OCing to 3.8, by the way i passed the prime/intel burn test in 3.8ghz. so any1 can help me state my prob? kinda newbie to oc here? might be insufficient wattage? or ram size/speed ? can check my sig for spec tho. thx |

when i oc my proc to 4ghz i put my vcore to 1.37v northbridge to 1.33v southbridge to 1.55v try it and may i know what stepping is ur proc?? |

Hilmi OC using 450X9 rite? I OCed mine 500X8 and it needs higher vcore...maybe my proc...but vSB 1.48 and didn't touch the NB voltage...

and i also have a question here.
does i need to change the cpu vtt setting?? what does it do exactly??? i search around the web but cant find what does it mean exactly..... try to up the vcore bit by bit. i am using E8400 (c0 stepping) and asus p5q deluxe; 24-7 @ 4.0GHz. i do enable load line calibration, and under load i need 1.272v to be able to pass 6-hours of occt's blend test. the other voltage are as follow:
vNB - 1.20v vFSB - 1.10v vPLL - 1.50v vDDR - 1.90v - depends on the ram (i am using ocz flex 9600) |

i wouldnt start playing wit the Vsb 1st i'd prolly focus on Vnb and Vtt then fine tweak using gtl @zuhair 1000 cl5 @ 2.1vdim? wow...dats high would u like to share some of ur flex results? i heard the older version can do miracle |
