hi guys, can help me with OC my e8400 C0 stepping to 4.0Ghz or perhaps to 4.5ghz smile.gif?

when i oc my e8400 to 4.0ghz i got a blue screen after log in to windows...>.<

now i can only OCing to 3.8, by the way i passed the prime/intel burn test in 3.8ghz.

so any1 can help me state my prob? kinda newbie to oc here? might be insufficient wattage? or ram size/speed ?

can check my sig for spec tho.
thx

try to up the vcore bit by bit. i am using E8400 (c0 stepping) and asus p5q deluxe; 24-7 @ 4.0GHz. i do enable load line calibration, and under load i need 1.272v to be able to pass 6-hours of occt's blend test. the other voltage are as follow:
vNB - 1.20v
vFSB - 1.10v
vPLL - 1.50v
vDDR - 1.90v - depends on the ram (i am using ocz flex 9600)
