ur C0 aa?? hmm... at least ur proc gives out accurate temp... mine... 4.0ghz @ 46c idle on TRUE 120.. still dunno wats wrong with it... ignoring the temps... haiz..
as long as u r able to get 4.5ghz below 1.4v is quite nice alreadi... to me 1.4v is too high...

ps: heard that last time u have prob with ur MARS like mine back then (gamers maniac told me.... i think... forgot alreadi).. settle alreadi??

hi guys,

I also use E8400 C0, oc 4.005Ghz on 1.356v... so far almost 7hour ORTHOS test... but the temp is darn hot 73C load, idle at 49c... on CCF... dont know this temp is real or not..

hai bro,

just want to know what is normal vdrop? previously i set 1.21875v for 3825mhz stable in orthos for 7 hour.. just now my pc crash and restart suddenly.. i tried to run orthos and it fail just about 15sec (with 1.21875v bios vc).. dont now what happend.. rclxub.gif

i tried to set bios vcore to 1.256v then it stabilize.. but cpuz shows only 1.216v idle and 1.200v load in orthos

is this mean my vdrop = 0.04v, vdroop = 0.016v?

is this acceptable? my idle temp also increase from 39c to 43c.. why ah? sad.gif

How bad is the vdroop depends on the motherboard, it varies. You increased the voltage so obviously the temp will increase a little.

Sorry, I didn't notice the screenshot links were all broken sad.gif I'm currently doing 515x8 (14-4-4-4) at 1.4875V and I'll try post a screenshot later today smile.gif Previously I needed around 1.4125V to get it running 4Ghz stable (if I remember correctly).

I'm using the first few batches of E8200 so it doesn't overclock that superbly compared to the new E0's you guys are having biggrin.gif Since it's an old junk then I might as well stress it more. If it's broken, I'll have a new excuse to get the E8600 laugh.gif

I'm on water cooling and Small FFT at 1.4785V can go up to 64C-65C full load.
