not yet, no money sad.gif after raya maybe.
Honda SC should have. The machanic at one of the Honda SC confirmed that with me few months ago. So I think all SC should have that part.

I would like to ask whether Honda City is suitable for Ron 95 petrol since it would cost more for Ron 97 effectively 1st Sept...

I'm thinking whether the usage of Ron 95 petrol could affect the engine performance of the car...

Thanks..

No pb for using Ron95. I am using it for 3 full pump. Infact our city are tune to Ron91 according to our manual.

haiz..
this is what the fuel company wants.
by calling RON92 (& now RON95) as "minyak lama", people perceive it as lower quality.
& the fuel pump attendant gave me the "are-you-sure?" look when i took the RON92 pump as if my engine gonna blow up.

IF OUR CAR NEEDS RON97, A STICKER WILL BE PLACED IN THE FUEL DOOR.

All we get is a sticker saying UNLEADED FUEL only which means we can use any unleaded fuel in Malaysia.
Even if I use RON107 race fuel, my car WON'T accelerate any slightest bit faster IF i don't tune my engine for RON107.
All that goes faster is the shrinkage of my wallet.

The fact is Malaysians mostly just swallow whatever is told.
Do we even know what RON stands for & used for? Don't bother. Friends said if use RON92 engine will blow up. So don't use.

fuel are fuel.
The additives may do a little difference but only a very accurate scientific test will show it.
Butt-dyno is much much less reliable tongue.gif

Temperature, pressure, elevation, weight, mood, placebo etc plays a bigger role in making us feel the slight difference.

rclxms.gif i like you. All those 'I feel this' and 'I feel that' for me is just placebo effect. Saiko yourself to think that you car pickup increased when using a more higher priced fuel.. even the ad on TV just to make you look like a fool "Oh saya merasakan kereta saya senang naik bukit selepas menggunakan *tut* *tut*.." - wtf, pergi dyno la bro, ada berani tak? laugh.gif

Just to share with u guys.. some info that i get from my friend.

RON--> Research Octane Number
Octane number is refer to the gasoline ability to withstand auto ignition inside the engin.
Simply say, RON97 is harder to ignite compared to RON95.

I believe some of us might switch from RON97 to RON95 due to more cheaper price.
BUT, you are adviced to check it out your vehicle fuel requirement.
Effect if use lower RON then the requirement: KNOCKING ( poor perfomance of your vehicle)

There are 3 ways to chk:-
1. from your vehicle guide book.
2. min Octane Number Rating at the back of the fuel lid cover
3. car manufacturer.

Here are some reference too:
