Time to change your CVTF - see if that resolves the issue first (less than RM100 if done outside SC). If not, could be clutch - change clutch will cost about RM1.5K because they need to take the engine out. I have the same issue, but had to live with it as no budget yet, drive slowly lor

Recently just changed the brake pad a few weeks ago and found that now I have to press longer just to brake (sometimes feel like the brakes are not catching).  Last time no need to press so much as compare to now can brake even going around 100km can feel that the car is slowing..

Since change to new brake pads have to brake further away before can feel that it's slowing (not sure if you get what I'm trying to say here)

Maybe I'm thinking too much.... 

Pickup also not as good as well, it'll take sometime (maybe around 2min) just to feel the pickup. My CT is currently around 4.5 years already.  Maybe old already 

So want to check with you sifu-sifu if can advice me on this.... 

Just changed tyres at Klang today.  Previously using Hankook Ventuz, and noted that when cornering at the kerinchi link (wet road) it'll slide to left eventhough just going around 70-80km.  Scare-scare, so friend recommended to change the tyres since mine has been more than 3 years already but the threading still look like new.  Is there a limit in tyre life since mine still looks new (with a bit makan the side - front wheels)? 

Sent it for service early July but they skipped the 80K service where they're suppose to change the spark plug & straight go to 85K service. mad.gif
Will need to check with SC if they can help to recalibrate ECU & see if it'll help. Hmm, wondering if it's also because I'm using semi-oil as well?

hmm.. the 80k is a major service. it changed quite a number of stuffs, brake fluid is 1 of the stuff they changed which i can remember. because once they changed the brake fluid, i can feel the brake is a lot better. they didn't change my brake pad.. they say still got more than 50% left...

when i do 80k service, my car is also lesser than 80k km...
but mind you some stuff needs to be changed after a period of time..

@agv7981, booklet is benchmarked to the mineral based engine oil from them. If you are with semi-synthetic oil you may go for 7000 km before service. Replacing spark plugs and other are costing RM400+ ? What are the others parts which change? Spark plugs changed at 15k km seems to be abnormal,the life time of them wasn't long enough before the standard one.

SCs are really blood suckers.

Is your car repaired by SC? 2 months in their workshop,that's long.

Which car is she driving? She banged your car definitely is her fault. Such an irresponsible driver there. Should fine her and jail her for 1 week.

im using a 2007 city vtech and i have a question.

when i set the car transmission to 7-speed manual, why does it insist on still controlling the car's transmission? when i step on the gas and wanted the RPM to go a lil higher, the gear shifts up automatically...

- i assume that im in the 7-speed manual when i click the corresponding button on the steering wheel once
