if im not mistaken, the 105mb is for updating via PC, whilst for updating via phone is like <20Mb.. perhaps those who had updated can confirm this. blush.gif

another option is to take a realli loud and noisy mp3, increase the volume by 150% or more, than save into your phone as alarm. This works super fine for me. The more irritating the sound is, the earlier you woke up laugh.gif

Tried to update my new firmware via the Nokia Software Updater.

Downloaded 105mb of the software and was installing right until the last 57 seconds of the process, the software tells me connection to phone lost. I checked my E66 and it was turned off, and even when I tried to turn it back on it just gave flashes of blank screens no matter what I do. Nothing that I can do on the NSU too since it doesn't detect the phone.

Nice one on that software there Nokia.

Any suggestions?

so now you just cant start your phone? I had the same problem with my E66 which made me changed my phone. Mine was then found out to be a hardware problem..

When you're updating ur firmware, is ur phone fully charged? Coz if your phone shuts off during updating, the internal files can easily be corrupted.. sweat.gif

Yes it was fully charged. I purposely charged it to full to ensure nothing wrong happens.

Bringing my phone to service center now. brb.
